Youth and Internet security
Currently the use of technology represented on mobile, desktop or any other similar devices, is characteristic of younger generations, since these have coincided with the height of said technology, including the term digital natives in reference to them, reference to them, reference to them,To recognize the importance of technology in their lives. These have broken up not only into them but also in society in general and that they offer us multiple opportunities, although we must recognize and be aware that they also entail risks and dangers, especially for minors, to whom they areThe digital world of the Internet, social networks and mobile phones related to their applications opens them from a very young age. However, it is through this same technology, which constantly evolves, that some improvements have been implemented, these improves refer to security optimization, this because when one thought of an interconnected and globalized system of transfer of information transfer of information Or data, as is the Internet, it was only thought about the usefulness of the system, leaving aside the security indicator or the impact that it would have, because it was ignored or simply not visualized as a medium or long -term problem, but This problem not only addresses the technological issue, since it has its weakest link in the human component, which is the one that finally operates these devices, so, identified the most important vulnerability such as the human factor, it is logical to think about The more vulnerable even, they can be the minors or children, in the face of these technologies that although they are widely used and disseminated, they are usually not very well understood, or at least not at level C As to manage adequate security in cyberspace, which is why incidents and criminal acts through the use of the Internet, social networks or computer media in general, has been increasing, taking advantage of the weakness or ignorance of both teachers, parents and children Regarding cybersecurity in the educational context.
From the moment in which students enter the school, it is teachers who have the opportunity to offer them adequate answers to integrate and live in society, however, it is also necessary that teachers have good to protect them during their way by informing them and teaching themregarding the threats of the environment and that currently should include cybersecurity.
There are, therefore, new challenges, as it is, efficiently and responsibly use the information, contrast it, learn to communicate through new digital devices, and to deal with potential bad uses of these new technologies. But against the term known as "digital gap" that has not been oblivious to teachers plays, since we find, in most cases, that educators cannot educate minors in this field by not keeping in mind the problem thatIt can be derived from the inappropriate or unadchn use of ICTs.
However, on many occasions, the management that is made of the information is against the security and privacy policies that should prevail in the management of personal data, especially when considering the vulnerability of the population to which this study emphasizes this study.
Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the level of maturity about the knowledge of the dangers of social networks and in general of cyberspace and how through good cybersecurity practices and an adequate strategy implemented in the teaching of the teaching of theStudents our minors and anyone in general can protect themselves in a new environment that, due to their disruptive emergence, is often alien.
Contextualizing the origin of social networks and their accelerated advance in the appearance of new trends to communicate, as well as in the use they are given, the relevance of providing recommendations that serve as a guide on how to protect and educate how to relate to the way of relatingThrough the Internet, it must be taken into account that the Internet has largely facilitated the creation of spaces to interact, which implies that social networks, such as Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram are among the most common among youth, it is sothat. Through a bibliographic review on the main concepts related to social or active networks of cyberspace they analyze what their implications, hazards and impacts possible for children and adolescence are analyzed, as well as the recommendations in terms of security and privacy respect, things that should considerParents, mothers and teachers to ensure that their children and students, make a more responsible and less dangerous interaction.
This work proposes the implementation of a subject that should be included in the school curriculum of children and young people so that it covers or attends that so -called digital gap and allows these children or young people to be handled safely in context of cyberspace, being that this is a great source of information and is currently inseparable from youth.
