Yaco: African gray parrot

For centuries, the practice of having birds as pets has been maintained and everything that has been known about them has really managed to know. The wonderful thing about birds is that all species have their own personalities, features and characteristics that make them unique to others. There are many fascinating domestic birds, and one of them is the African gray parrot. This is the most popular domestic bird that exists, stands out for its great intelligence and for being the most talkative of the parrots’ family.

Characteristics of domestic birds

Birds are usually social animals that enjoy the company and most of them have great personalities. Can be found in all shapes and sizes. There are noisy birds and others quieter, extroverted and shy. Sometimes, domestic birds are usually active birds and enjoy playing, some even speak and sing. There are some that tend to be a bird of a single person, that is, they like to have a single owner, but many birds like to be friends with the whole family. 

There are birds that can adapt to almost any type of person and each type of lifestyle. When exploring the different types of birds and their behaviors, it is important to take into account their desires, needs and temperament. One of them is Yaco.

Yacos personality

Yaco, also known as African gray parrot is characterized by being a very conversational bird and is known for its extreme intelligence. This is one of the oldest species raised by the human being. They are lovely and brilliant birds that usually get perfectly with the whole family. Many times the combination of their great sensitivity and intelligence can lead them to make bad behaviors. A simple change in his routine can make Yaco feel sad and start to start and chew his feathers.

The African gray parrot enjoys speaking at all times, can even perfectly imitate the voice of his human.
