Video game professional in Colombia and/or Latin America
Video games over time have become more popular today, and most young people share this type of “hobby” with friends and acquaintances, but this new generation integrated almost entirely by the world of the Internet, hascould congenize to create a new form of competition;Electronic sports, or better known as “E-Sports”, these are video game competitions that have become events of great popularity and that through a face-to-face or virtual platform provides the public live broadcasts thatThey show the different skills of the players, forming professional teams that seek to face others to be the champions and be named the best in one of the most popular games.
However, this new type of entertainment is not shared equitably worldwide. Main countries such as the United States or South Korea are the first to be named in this type of event and where at the same time the best players in the world have been seen and known. But when talking about Latin American countries, there is not much information, since there are still traditional thoughts that make these types of events as something basic or unattainable for young people. Throughout this essay we want to present the main advances and events that have shown that competences and tournaments can be had in Latin American countries, disarming the basic ideas named above and that you can have the same level as other people around the world.
In Colombia, the taste for video games in youngA taste or something momentary to be something that demonstrates passion and pure ability. “Video games have become a discipline of competition, in which participants dedicate time to train to be the best as well as any high performance sport. Morality in Colombia and/or Latin America closes these types of ideas, with conservative or ancient comments or thoughts that deny the dreams or goals of several young Hispanics, but little by little more meeting places are allowed for the “Gamer” community,a space where they know they will fit. In several universities in Latin America they have created careers related to the theme of video games that leave aside those ideas and open a new horizon for a new world, to get more and more level in development and creating a better world for this new digital generation.
