The work of Antigona, Sophocles

Antigone is a story that tells a series of tragedies that occurred to the King of Thebes Creon, the text refers that the events that were given were for the decisions of the gods and that these predominate before those that had been made by man,In the case of Creon it was because he did not want to give the authorization to a burial of an "important" man, this caused the gods to be angry with Creon and that they sentence him to a tragic end, this is confirmed by an old man who warns himI think about the danger he has. The main elements treated in this work are: love (almost always included in Greek tragedies) with the case of Antigone and Hemon, sadness in the case of Eurídice, it dishonors it with Ismena due to the lack of help to their sister forbury his brother and finally the repentance of King Creon. Sophocles gives us several issues that he wanted to make known with this work such as: the conflicts that were given between the person of the common and the king;the relationship between gods and mortals;Something very important that he did was give the main role to a woman because at that time machismo was abundant even in literary works.
According to the information given by the text, Antigone is an excellent work because it treats issues alluding to the human being, that is, it relates the nature of the human being as in beliefs, morals, love, reflection, etc.; with important events and characters. The text expresses an idea about the turns that give things according to the decision making a person and that depending on these can generate consequences that affect it or not in the future, in my view it is a great form ofUnderstand the view of the human being, due to the simplicity of the issues he addresses and his explanation in the work, given that these are very difficult to understand without a clear exposure of these but everything seen since ancient times.
