The new understanding: Effective Communication and Culture

Introduction.

In which we live from the particular vision that each one has in the world, but we act as if we all saw and knew the same. We are aware that our vision is related to our experiences, stories, customs, traditions, cultures and emotions. However, in everyday life we ask others to see the same as us. There is an incongruity between what we do and what we say. The world is a space of existence. Each person lives their own space of existence, therefore there are as many worlds as people.

The spaces of existence are made up of infinite spaces of coexistence in which we establish relationships with ourselves, with others and with the environment. The family, the school, the company, the gym, the park, the stadium, the street, the restaurant, the country, are spaces of relational coexistence. Within these spaces there are different ways to do things. The well -being or discomfort that is generated in them depends on one hundred percent of each person.

We cannot and should not hold anyone the result of our way of relating. We use the concept of the world to refer to the reality of each one and also to refer to cultures or relational spaces with a common identity. That is why we talk about the world of tennis, music, sport, wine, women, in short. There are endless worlds. We also know that the codes of these spaces are their own and grant a particular identity. The relationships established in these worlds seek to preserve the behavior of their members.

Similarly, when someone does something that does not fit with a specific culture we think: this person lives in another world. What I want to highlight with this is that, to this concept of world we all understand it, but in coexistence we act without giving truce to whom different thinks. In reality it usually happens that when someone does not belong to a specific world and thinks about it, it separates it with the argument that it does not know, it does not understand. He qualifies it as an ignorant.

Why is this happening? Because group members try to preserve the identity of their space under the premise that no one can comment on if he is not a member of that set and, therefore, part of what they assume as truth or reality or reality. In our cultural coexistence we treat consensus as absolute truths. What do we do with those truths? We incorporate them as preferred answers to our questions. Every time we face a problem of similar characteristics we turn to the same explanation. This recurrence leaves us in the same place. If we always manage with the same answer, when will there be innovation? When will the new understanding be produced?. Live with certainties closes the space for speculation, exploration, possibility.

Developing.

Every day we find people who think different and who have a different worldview. Most of the time we say automatically: you are wrong, I do not agree with you. Where do we tell the other who is wrong? From the claim that we are right and assuming that what we think is the only truth. We almost never wonder why the other person thinks differently. We live without reflecting. We believe that it is easier to live in a biased than to change perspective or as we say most times to give the arm to twist. We believe that our knowledge or our experience gives us wisdom to know how things are. And it is not always like that.

Each person is the world and you cannot live in another way than to take care of one’s life. What we have to do is a transformation of understanding, a personal transformation to enjoy a better coexistence and a better quality of life contributing at the same time a more human society. Learn to listen to, learn to analyze other opinions knowing that accepting does not mean agreeing, but understanding that in collaboration we can find common interests on which to build.

Language makes us human, thanks to Him we can coordinate actions with our peers. Everything we want to achieve in life with the other, arises from language, through which I not only refer to spoken language, but to any gesture that allows us to coordinate ourselves. There are the axioms of human communications: ‘it is not possible not to communicate’ it refers to the fact that if someone remains silent without saying anything, they are also communicating.

All communication has an aspect of content and a relational aspect such that the second classifies the first and is, therefore, a telecommunication refers to the communication transmitting information (content aspect) and imposes behaviors (relational aspect). The nature of a relationship depends on the score of the communication sequences between the communicants, it is a series of mutually exchanged messages and that influence each other.

Human beings communicate both digital and analogically, refers to human beings can communicate by resorting to different languages. All communicational exchanges are symmetrical or complementary, as they are based on equality or difference refers to the process that shows how people’s behaviors are changing as they interact more and more. Refers to human beings can communicate by resorting to different languages.

Conclusions.

We are emotional beings walking around the world. We have to be innovative. Innovative in undertaking new projects, looking for new answers, exploring new possibilities. We must be those people who accept the questions and who stay with reflection. Those who do not have an immediate response. That they open to the possibility that others have different experiences to their own and that, precisely from those experiences, their conclusions make sense. Those that open a path of dialogue, of meeting relating to understanding.
