The levels of social injustice
Intersectionality reveals the multiple levels of social injustice, which can be suppressed or separated by categories so as not to reveal the true violence exerted on the weak bodies. But how to imagine such a miserable life, of continuous abuses without being accepted, or rather hidden from society?
It is difficult to accept these facts, the guilty admit the fault of being authors or carriers of injustices. But it is also believed that recognizing these crimes and rejections will be granted a preferential treatment that suffers them, it would have more advantages by possessing more vicissitudes of iniquity;But they continue to combine discrimination factors to make these elements of injustice visible. Not seeing this kind of problems, they cannot be solved;There is no name to identify it and with it to fight it. Intersectionality combines and intersects those categories that denigrate the individual to be able to make the factors visible to combat the different forms of discrimination and exclusion. The intersectionality in Butler’s theory, Lugones and Gomez are evidenced from the exclusion factors that determine who can be violated and who lives privileged. Butler, as already mentioned, does it from the face that reveals the vulnerable body and abject;Lugones does it through categories that are separated, so as not to actually see the framework of violence against the individual and collective in which they are exercised. It is believed that this tool is only pertinent to show inequalities against women, when in reality this is a tool that allows expanding the panorama of all individuals within society. For being a feminist proposal it is denigrated and with this the exclusion factors that are exercised within the patriarchal systems that predominate in society become more evident. Each context is different, it has different characteristics that identify and define it within society, but also has different ways of exercising and implementing violence. For this reason you can deepen this theory to take it to daily praxis.
Not only can it be useful to demonstrate patriarchal rejections and problems, but also to see other factors implemented from the colony, such as gender, sexuality, ethnicity, social class, etc. Now this depends on the interest to create a society with a highly balanced equality and equity factor for each individual and collective. Thus not to continue stating that it is not about homophobic, aporophobic violence, racism, gender, femicide, among others, but of simple common violence. Keep denying the lack by attributing the victim to blame for looking for him.
We must make visible and make these acts of violence visible to fight to claim the identity of all people. Because talking about intersectionality is talking about a paradigm shift that has discrepancies to make visible it, as well as to implement strategies to combat it. It is not enough to demonstrate and fight them, but to go beyond patriarchal derivations, since there are other matrices of domination that, they have intersectional indiscretion in the processes of power and suppression that characterizes violence. Thus rethink theoretical practices and feminist points of view to give them importance and enhance within society and fight to claim each personality.
