The importance of socio -emotional education in learning

From my perspective, socio -emotional education is developing according to the degree that we are studying to an average degree, it is sought that the student seek and identify their qualities, as well as that of others as the level progresses other objectives are sought such as the student assuming Responsibilities on it and be aware of their duties, without a doubt it is essential in personal development, as well as the social of all people.
Socio -emotional education is presented in different fields, but in learning it is where students’ values, attitudes and skills are acquired allowing achievements in their learning more successfully.
An example of the skills that develop during this type of learning are emotions, fundamentally these are determined as phenomena of multicausal origin which manifest responding to an emergency, intensity, anguish, fear, joy among many others. Emotions have a great effect on what we learn and especially as we do, as well as being presented in different ways, generating different consequences (Puente, 2007).
I think this socio -emotional education process is more effective when it begins at an early age such as childhood and continues during adolescence. Socio -emotional development in childhood and adolescence improves social skills, as well as emotional and being as important as learning indispensable things such as reading, adding, subtracting and all those needs that are basic., They are essential for the person to succeed at school, work and their life in relation to other people around him, to learn to control their emotions and behaviors. Be empathic, make responsible decisions and be able to solve problems and maintain healthy relationships.

From my position in general on socio -emotional education in the field of learning it is mainly that students know themselves, that they are individuals capable of putting their emotions in order and recognizing diversity, allowing them to consider their life projects themselves and seek Always their well -being, not only of themselves but also that of others working the five socio -emotional dimensions that are worked in the different subjects and areas that have the development that are: self-knowledge, self-regulation, autonomy, empathy and collaboration.
