Stereotypes and gender equity are highly discussed issues;generating uprisings, discussions, debates, etc. Well, they sought to position women at the same height, in terms of economic, sports, social and cultural with man;In this last time, progress has been made in many situations of equality for women;Who has gradually become a fundamental pillar of progress for nations, although it has not been easy to reach where they are now, with constancy and sacrifice they have achieved it. Today we find women leaders, progressive, entrepreneurs;that fight daily to defeat the machismo imposed since the beginning of the times.
Women during history have had a constant struggle with society for the acquisition and recognition of their rights in search of respect and equality in the face of their opposite sex, where the key is that many tend to make mistakes, or to have an erroneous definition ofthe terms sex and gender and therefore make them misuse of them. Jan a.J. Karremans, in his technical report (gender analysis: concept and methods) says that “sex refers to an anatomical, morphological and physiological condition and that gender is a social construction in which socially differentiated characteristic and papers develop thatmake up male and female identities ". The history of mankind gives testimony, how women have been, who has suffered the most injustice of being socially discriminated, not so much to deny him the opportunity to overcome, but also belittling the immense work of her within society and in thehome. These roles or stereotypes have given rise to abuse, and discrimination against women. Do you think the stereotype imposed by the company on women is acceptable? Women have the same capacities that a man is more have had high and important positions to which they were previously limited, but, currently still the activities involving sports carried out by the male gender or establishing themselves in a position or position of importance, to put it in some way, they attract qualifiers such as;They are inefficient, unintelling, weak among others.
Women have had to go through many obstacles to achieve a partial equal rights in society, although there is still a lot for complete gender equity, today we can say that we are all equal. There is a lot of machismo even, but this is not only due to "custom" to speak in some way, but there is education deficiency and this delays more to understand that we are all the same. My recommendation would be addressed to parents, since they are the first teachers of their children;They are the ones who must instill in children values of respect and equity and teach them both their rights and obligations, so we can have people in the future with critical and responsible thought of each of their actions.
