The drug addiction and dependence of the human organism
In this essay, the issue of drug addiction will be carried out which is so called because it becomes a dependency for the body, it can become a central axis and part of the lives of the people who consume it, for this reasonI want to rely on everything related to the subject which throughout this essay I hope to solve many doubts and unknowns that can not be presented to us when talking about this issue.
I want to start based on two types of dependencies which are physical and psychological:
Psychological dependencies is the one that leads you to consume it because it makes you feel good or simply feel that it disconnects from you and makes you even arrive to tolerate yourself, it becomes your central axis of your life and you feel that you cannot leaveto consume it.
Physical dependence by increasing the consumption of a drug, the organism increases its tolerance and the effect of the drug is no longer so strong. This causes you to have higher doses.
I can infer that drug addiction brings many risks involved such as multiple diseases because these are not known and being illegal not much information about the product is provided, in reality in most cases drugs are mixed and theseIt is the most detrimental because any type of mixture in the drug is accompanied by some consequence for health, a lot of willpower is required to be able to leave this state in which people fall little aware and less and more discreditedby the State, which have received few values and education in homes and are people who go against the world, of course not in all cases.
Some drugs are addictive and lead to prolonged body damage. Strong or prolonged consumption of some illegal drugs can cause consumer overdose, which can cause irreversible damage to the body and be deadly.
Being arrested in possession of drugs from class A can be a sentence of seven years of imprisonment, while the supply can lead to life imprisonment. Condemns for supply or possession of drugs of class B or class C can be similar. Supply means giving or selling drugs to other people.
Being illegal people who promote the development of these mafias and are merchants also have their actions when they manage to be captured.
The symptoms and health risks caused by the consumption of illegal drugs are:
- Cannabis: dizziness, vomiting, panic, paranoia, loss of coordination (short -term). Lung cancer, mental health problems, respiratory problems, sterility and heart disease (long -term).
- Amphetamines (SPEED): dizziness, hallucinations, insomnia and depression.
- Ecstasy (MDMA): Dehydration, nausea, unconsciousness (short -term), depression (long -term). Rarely, can cause coma and even death.
- Cocaine and crack: extreme paranoia, depression, insomnia, weight loss and helplessness in men.
- LSD (acid): hallucinations, delusions, mental health problems. Flashbacks (a sudden memory of a bad experience with the LSD) can occur after many years.
Heroin: heart failure, unconsciousness, coma. HIV (by sharing needles), collapsed veins, loss of acute appetite and constipation. Frequently, heroin is related to antisocial or criminal behaviors such as disregarding children or steal
These are one of the symptoms and what a person feels when consuming this type of substance that if they were aware of their actions could prevent all this.
I manage to analyze how in these cases the abandonment of the State towards these people is seen, as they fall into these vicious circles they give less importance and instead of trying to help them, rejection is created and discrimination is used in this inhabitants.
Make changes the first step and the most difficult that people who abuse drugs should take is to recognize that they have a problem, and then admit that they need help to overcome it.
Some people are aware that they have a problem, but they find it difficult to stop consuming drugs. Other people need someone to help them realize that they have a problem. The signs of having a drug problem are: continuously increase the dose of drugs to achieve the same effect;a feeling of drug dependence;fear of stopping them;Abstinence symptoms if you stop taking them for a short period;sudden humor changes;a vision of negative or changed life;loss of motivation;Low work or school performance;problems with personal relationships;ask for money or steal from friends and family;and keep activities and actions secret.
The healing of a drug addiction is a long process that begins with detoxification. This is stop consuming the drug and not falling. Healing normally consists of a combination of treatments, including psychological and behavioral therapy, as well as the necessary medication. The treatment varies depending on concrete addiction. If you stop taking drugs, it is normal for you to have abstinence symptoms. These can be: nausea, vomiting, muscle pain, fever, humor changes, irritability, anger, guilt, depression and anxiety. It is important to take things calmly, little by little. Take advantage of the support offered by health professionals, friends and family. Try to get away from the situations in which there are drugs available.
This can become one of the most difficult stages that are lived in this process as I said previousNull life.
To conclude we must take into account that each of the problems derived from this issue can be prevented after there are good education bases, but nevertheless it is not difficult to get out if there is adequate accompaniment throughout this process, in thisperiod of change can be taken as a life lesson, since it is known how vulnerable one can become.
