The atypical values of our society
Many are the signs that reflect that something worrying is happening in our society. Our society supports a serious language crisis. Every prosperous society seeks to maintain a social pact with the language. Know what is said, who is said and how to say avoid violence, because sometimes language becomes violence itself.
The misuse of language is a symptom of social indiscipline, of disgust due to the aesthetic and indifference for the collective norms that encourage society. These are the plot threads by which, with rare exceptions, the society as a whole is guided. Integrity is a symptom of high culture, because she makes the citizen, rulers and businessmen adjust their behavior, not for fear of punishment, but with respect to values freely assumed as guides. This does not mean that society has to be anchored in the past, without seeking update and modernize according to the times that are running. But it should be admitted that we face a deep crisis of values and that, consequently, it is essential», To which so many are prone today. It is evident that education is unable to do with minors and young people what adult society is not willing to do with itself. Values, unlike language, mathematics or languages, cannot be transmitted in the classical sense of school teaching.
On the contrary, they are cultivated from the imitation, identification and interaction with the people who live according to those values.
We all ask ourselves, how can we recover the lost values in our education? Well, the truth is not easy to rebuild everything we have destroyed. It is not at school only, they are parents and relatives who have made our children without values, without conscience.
If we want to recover those values that we have lost in our schools and schools, we must begin to forge children with love from initial education, make talks with parents, have close communication with our students.
It is these things that we want to avoid, that our children and adolescents, grow in anti values if we want a better world from now, nor will our children, nor our students or children close.
