Summary and Reflections of the Book Crime and Punishment

The publication of the crime and punishment book was in 1866, with an atmosphere of St. Petersburg, initially with the Russian language (престуеline. Written by Fiódor Dostoevski, creating a literary work referenced to the novel, which has as its main character a young former university student. The best known works of Dostoevski as the main crime and punishment, the Karamázov brothers, the demonized, the idiot and the memoirs of the subsoil which have literature of playing with psychology, and social aspects of the centuries of each book.

It all starts in with a young man named Raskólnikov who studied at the university, and gave external classes but hated that, he started to decline he had no money to pay his room or to eat he had for this reason I left his studies, his mother sent him money Although it wasn’t much, Nastasia who helped him. He met a man who was drunk named Marmeládov who had 3 children, Sonia from 18 to which his stepmother made her prostitute himself to take money for food from her brothers since her stepmother did nothing and her father was a drunk had a weight.

¨In poverty, one retains the nobility of his innate feelings; In homelessness, no one can keep anything noble.¨ (Dostoevski, crime and punishment, 1866).

But the point we have to know is for the death of Alena Ivanova, Raskólnikov, the murderer because everyone talked about her was the worst old, usurer and other heinous things she did for people and even with her own sister, Between anger, hate and uncertainty the murderer to Alena Ivanova, removing her from the map. But when doing that he had paranoia that they discovered him by the murder, erasing all the clues that would blame him, "nature corrects her, he is directed. Otherwise, prejudices would crush us. (Dostoevski, crime and punishment, 1866). Having as consequences some symptoms of serious illness that he could barely walk, which for his remorse would spend seven years in prison.

In conclusion this book with its gloomy texts to my opinion plays with respect to who is the good depending on which side you are reading it, we feel that Raskólnikov was innocent believing that he did good killing the old woman for being a usurer It would have been contrary to being Ivanova we could see the book with another perspective, but still this book expresses some realisms about things as it expresses them generating anguish and believing the role of the protagonist, generating some compassion towards him, because he has A type of psychological paper that makes you believe how things have to be for the character.
