Introduction

Socrates has been one of the most important philosophers in history in general terms, because from it the conception of philosophy is divided, when worrying about the aspects that the presocratic philosophers had not worried; the man. Socrates wondered what is the man? What is the good and the evil? How should man behave?, and many more doubts about the man itself arose. What led him to obsess with finding the truth, and to implement methods to reach this, as were the "Mayéutic", what means: the question.

Developing

Socrates’ primary interest was "morality" (concept of what was goodness, love, justice, among others), for Socrates man is not bad by nature; "Man is bad because he doesn’t know," that is; No one does the evil of Aposta, but he always does it for ignorance. Here it is convenient to stop for a moment because, for Socrates the "virtue" is knowledge, and vice, "ignorance". 

Virtue is synonymous with justice, to know what is fair, you have to know. And ignorance; synonym for evil (contrary to virtue), that is, the root of all evils. "If I do evil it is because I don’t know good, because if I knew it, I could only do good.". Socrates’ moral intellectualism was based on “knowledge; It is virtue ”, who does evil, does it for ignorance, and who knows it always practices it. 

But this is where a question arises, how do you get to good, then?, Yes the way to good is through knowledge, so what is knowledge, and how do I get to it? For Socrates the moral attitude is based on acting precisely, explained by knowledge, since it is just the one who knows justice. When the man acts bad.

If man knew what is better for him, he would do it immediately. From my point of view, this thought of Socrates does not "block" with some aspects of today, since we are all aware in most of our actions, distinguishing between good and evil, in this aspect it is not being generalized, put on that in the midst of various situations, sometimes leaving aside the correct decision making.

So we do what we consider more dependent on our priorities, many times we know what we have to do, we are still doing what affects us. For example, an ignorant person is consequently dangerous, because he is one of the greatest evils, since man does it without realizing it.
