Social work in the defense of social inequality
Society is living a very sad reality, given the new globalization, where situations of great need appear, over the years the social work career has practiced help, first, from a charitable perspective, later, from aConception of Justice, inspired to guarantee rights by laws, with the passage of time social work and human rights, have been adjusted to help citizens better, protecting their integrity and of course enforcing their rights.

On the other hand, the profession is responsible for social justice, respect for the diversity of cultural aspects and the protection of people so that they do not violate their human rights, those are some of the approaches, in addition their mission is to treat theindividuals with equality and support them.

During that time in the country human rights were not respected, it was a huge plot that crossed the Guatemalan territory, in addition to suffering the great atrocities, they were used, mistreatment and enslaved as animals. Then at the end of the conflict, I improve the situation a bit but despite this, this type of brutalities always still observe, where citizens suffer from new problems again.
At present, society again faces a series of sufferings because of the violation and breach of their rights, in addition this happens more, by their rulers who take advantage of society manipulating them and leading them to be used as puppets;The Guatemalans will continue to live situations of slavery, without being free and being the object of violence, however there is a probability that the situation changes, if working on it to achieve the objective for every person to be heard and manage to obtain respect for theirRights we will have great changes.
The human person and their rights. The person is the construction company of society, the person in charge of the great movement of humanity, if there were no human beings there were no groups, families and not even a society, imagine the earth without people, it would be more than an empty world;The human being is the species of person, man and individual who needs rights that protect them and in addition to that he has obligations to be fulfilled.
The person its purpose is to seek their own common good, however many times it brings consequences;What we now call human rights is nothing more than anything than natural rights, as well as the right to integrity and right to honor. Another very important factor is the dignity of the person precisely because it generates a fair society. Respect for each human being, individually of their economic level;The human person is not an object to be belittle or manipulate.
The human being has an infinity rights that are fundamental, in addition that they are the key to the respect of all, individually and sociably the rights are universal. Rights are classified as individual, social, economic, political, cultural, etc. Among some who are essential for human being is the right to life and freedom, and so that they are not subject to any abuse, or slavery or torture, they also have the rights to a good education, food and decent work.
Rights are for all, without discrimination and no marginalization, the purpose of rights is to ensure freedom, equality and dignity, this means that it seeks the integrity of the individual;All are fundamental for the reality that the human person is going through;No one can be used, however it is currently observed that people live dominated by others.
Social inequality and social work challenges
Inequality is a scourge for all countries, the context of inequality is a scenario that is lived daily in Guatemala, our society is divided by a few who have great wealth;Very apart from all that problem in which the country is involved, there is a profession that has challenges to contribute and at the same time intervene in the problem, to create a change, also help the entire population.
Who has not been affected or suffered from inequality in life, I suppose that all are multiple effects caused by several circumstances, as we can determine that it is the economy since it is a great cause that separates and places a great barrier to theSociety, apart from this the situations that the country is going through are other characteristics that lead to society to suffer from exclusion, marginalization and discrimination.
The challenge of social work is to rescue and build a different sense, proclaim human rights, so that there is not so much inequality in Guatemalan society, since they are all the same, deserving of having the same opportunities, we must fight with societiesdehumanized;With this, social workers continue to manufacture and create actions to attend and achieve the improvement of society.
The challenge to inequality is crucial, it is important that the social worker has a good thought, critical action and ethical commitment, in order to collaborate and perform the ability to investigate the manifestations of the problem, apart from understanding human beings, ofHave the ability or particularity to know or discover forms of discrimination that people go through, also to have an involvement and know defense spaces.
Inequality and discrimination in social relations. Inequality is a phenomenon that is now increasing today, it seems that none of the strategies work;Discrimination is a huge separation through which humanity is going through, one of the greatest challenges suffered by the Guatemalan territory is racism, which is the discrimination facing the different ethnic groups of the country, in addition the factors involved are the race and color ofskin in people. The reality of these two problems in social relationships occurs because of the different criteria and elements such as: economic, religious and cultural since these are the main ones that are involved in the situation in which humanity lives, relations oftenThey are given by affinity or the privilege that different people have and create their own spaces where they live and put aside other people, we call inequality and discrimination.
The objective is to create a better society where social relations help make a change, to attend vulnerable groups that suffer from inequality and discrimination in the country, creating networks for the progress of improving the barriers or ruptures of human beings, ifThese problems are taken for a research study, raising questions that give the guideline to obtain relevance information, a proposal could be made to prevent phenomena from continuing to harm and affecting society.
Perspective of inequality between men and women. As society sees and treats people depending on their gender, it is a sadness that are carried away by stereotypes;In several cultures they discriminate against women because they are inferior to men, because of that the woman suffers and does not have access to a better standard of living, this is a consequence of the customs that have been inherited from past generations.
At present, this problem is still lived, despite the existence of the agreement on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women, with the aim of disappearing and eradicating inequality, exclusion or restriction that affects the rights of women;Looking for equality among men and women in all areas, to end the situations that disadvantages women.
