Science as an important factor in man’s life

In this research work science will be explained as an important factor in the life of man. Since science has been and is part of our daily lives. Science occurs in ancient humanities, where man tries to understand the reality where he lives, to understand his nature and solve his problems to meet his needs.

In such a way that investigations arise to explain and understand why the facts. These inquiries begin in the ancient cultures in Egyptian and Greek that were based solely on beliefs on mythologies and magic, that is where they discover that in other cultures they have other more wise knowledge methods. In other words, they tried to look for answers to their questions, which can make reality known based on certain natural phenomena that were not facts or actions caused by the human being, so that knowledge of science begins. Therefore, science serves to explain the universe and understand how things work, it helps us answer questions that we have raised throughout our lives, but it has to be proven, through experimentation and observation, that is,using the scientific method that is a set of steps to follow structuredly and logically to achieve true knowledge. Next in the following paragraphs my position will be explained through arguments.

Science has developed over time, where men tried to discover nature and seek solutions to their daily problems at the economic, social, political and cultural levels. Science is part of our lives, since we characterize ourselves for being curious people with the ability to inquiry, to ask ourselves why of the phenomena of nature. According to Bunge (1960) "Science appears as something surprising with the need to change and improve society, the artificial, natural and cultural environment" (P.two).

Science is very important in society because it gives us a better quality of life, since science has been characterized by improving our health looking for solutions to prevent diseases, through medication creations, vaccines, among others that are available within reach of theman, for example in pharmacies where you can acquire more easily in such a way that it is a benefit for society to prevent any disease that comes to us. It also makes our life easier, it allows us to live healthy and have more years of life. That is why we say that science is useful in society because it tries to seek solutions and improve the life of man.

Likewise, science in classrooms must be encouraged, since it is important to grow in a democratic society where students know and participate in the reality in which we live, so that teachers have the ability and commitment to encourage studentsIn the teaching of science, where the teacher develops science in a simple and didactic way, that students are allowed to participate and explain about reality by proposing questions where they analyze and that through the research or experimentation that isThey do in teamwork build their own knowledge based on the current reality where possible solutions to the problems presented to them in their daily lives. In addition, they will develop the analytical, reflective and critical capacity. That is why teachers must support and encourage science in schools because it is a fundamental tool for the development of society, since students with innovative capacity will be trained, that is, capable of creating and producing a good in society. In addition, Niedea and Macedo (1997) point out that “the sciences are important, since it favors in their learning in children and young people where they develop observation, reasoning, communication and abstraction capabilities allowing them to develop their own knowledge autonomously” (P.4).

Science has been fundamental for the advancement of technology, since it is an important factor in society because it allows us to live within the reach of devices that help us have a better quality of life and meet our needs, thanks to science andTechnology instruments of importance have been developed for the benefit of man, for example the construction of hospitals in less time, the creation of vaccines to prevent or counteract diseases, the manufacture of objects that are necessary for daily use. Also through technology our way of thinking has changed, we have opened doors to large fields of research being a benefit for the transformation of society. According to Raymond (1996) "New technologies are discovered in an essentially internal research and development process, which then establishes the conditions for social change and progress" (P.5).

That is why science is of great importance in the life of man, since it has been of great advance in technology because thanks to science, great changes in society have developed based on research and experimentation to provide benefits inlife.
