Personal freedom in society
There are many definitions of freedom in the world. One of them is ‘the power or right to act, speak or think as one wants without obstacles or restrictions’. It is a concept that refers to many aspects of human life. It is commonly defined as the natural faculty that the human being possesses in order to act according to his own will. It is also possible to understand freedom as that state in which man is not being enslaved or imprisoned by another. It is a concept that refers to those aspects related to independence, with the license to carry out what is considered appropriate or convenient. Freedom is ‘the faculty or capacity of the human being to act according to their values, criteria, reason and will’. For me, the word freedom means free. Free to make my own decisions in life without someone telling me what decisions to make, what to say or how to express myself. Be a slave or tired.
We should all feel free to express ourselves in the way we want. If it’s clothes, makeup, religion or even sexuality. Being able to say and do what you think is better for me is really important. Some people find their freedom in religious. We should all feel free about our religious traditions. Feel free of what we believe and how it defines us as the person we are and will be in the future.
Freedom is the opposite of slavery. A person who is a slave is ‘a person who does not own himself, but is owned by another person, physical or legally’. Therefore, I feel that slavery played an important role in everything we know as freedom, how to think about these questions. How should the world be without him? Would the world be different from what we know? Could we have defined freedom today ?, Would we have the right to freedom? People should be free, humans are not objects that can only be purchased. I want to say that we have all heard of human trafficking, and really affects people’s freedom.
In conclusion, we are all free of being who we are if you feel good if it makes you feel free. In the end, we all have the rights to freedom. People should not feel forced to act, believe, dress, express themselves in any way. We all need to feel free, feel human. We are not objects, we act and express ourselves as we want and nobody takes that away from us.
