Personal essay at the issue of immigration
The issue of immigration has become very important today. Today, this issue has been in the mouth of all Mexicans and Americans since lately, the number of immigrants has increased. Mexico to state being a bridge for immigrants to move to the United States, which some people find our country not very beneficial, whether thanks to this we can lose some relationship with the United States and which can be harmful to Mexico. Although these immigrants are trying to escape their country to have a full life, this does not justify that they are entering a country illegally causing disasters and even deaths. This number has increased from 0.45% immigrants until 0.99% that was the figure presented last year. This equals that the United States has the largest number of immigrants.
My position before this is that immigrants should be standing at the border of Mexico in some way. The United States has already taken letters in the matter, if these immigrants are passing illegally, they should not be accepted. Although according to the statistics of the INEGI, Mexico is the fifth place in the statistics of refuge applications with a number of 46, large groups of people continue to want to enter the force causing damage, and even deaths as the case of last 31July 2018, which was "immigrant dies drowned on channel after crossing the Texas border" according to the EFE newspaper. If the United States does not want to miss, we will have to respect that decision, since this could affect an entire country in many ways. Relationships between Mexico and the United States are very beneficial for both countries, if this is harmed, many things would be in danger such as trade, the country’s economy, international relations, etc..
Another reason why I think that accepting immigrants is a very little feasible idea for our country is because of the increase in crime, poverty, hunger, lack of education, among others that this can cause. The INEGI statistics say that 7 out of 10 people do not have access to products and services to meet their needs, also that 3 out of 10 people do not have enough income to buy the basic basket. Also the increase in crime in young minors has increased in recent years. According to INEGI statistics, “with 919 young people detained in the first quarter of 2016, it is the year with more cases since 2012."Also, the increase in lack of education in adolescents gets greatlyor your whole family. According to INEGI, in 2012, the annual expense per student in Mexico was about 3, 354 dollars which is equivalent to 67,842.73 Mexican pesos.
Some solutions that have been raised today for better this problem have been productive solutions, such as that of the president of the United States that according to its statement, the plans to build a border wall between the border of the United States and Mexico forprevent migrants from illegally to their country. I think that this can become a very good option, and that in this way it will avoid many problems in the long or short term. With what I do not agree is that Donald Trump announced that as long. I say that with today’s technology, you can reach an easier and less violent solution like the ones I will say below.
In my opinion, Mexico and the United States could reach the agreement on the border wall, since neither Mexico nor the United States are in a position to contribute money, nor homes for immigrants, since their country needs more than anyone. Also, instead of shooting people who try to pass the wall, my opinion is that they should have drones, or some type of camcorders to capture at the time that someone is jumping the wall and giving consequences while the wall isFinish building. After a long time, perhaps, crime, hunger, poverty problems, among others, can reduce, in that case, my solution would be to let them pass in a legal way and also depending on their situation. Then, they must be assigned in a job so that they can contribute to El País in some way instead of bringing more problems to our country.In conclusion, neither Mexico nor the United States are in a position to provide or contribute money to receive immigrants since they are suffering from similar problems that would be very unfair and meaningless to give if we have nothing to give.
