But I want to stop in a specific myth that is the concept of the quality of online education vs. Face -to -face education. This myth is immersed in the culture of our country, online courses are of low quality no one can replace the teacher in the classroom.
But this is false according to the academic Eliana Losardo graduated in Education Sciences (UBA) specialist in Virtual Education Environments, who states “the virtual environment allows us to think to the one who guides learning as a facilitator and being responsible for promoting dialogueand interaction ". Online education breaks with the scheme of the traditional form of education where someone crossed knowledge and the other listened. From my point of view, the quality of education goes through several factors, first to make a good selection of the content, it has to be relevant and differentiator and aligned to the objectives to be developed, it is also important to which segment we are going to develop that content, andChoose appropriate resources.
Today there is a great opportunity to use digital tools in Post of a quality, economical and accessible education, in the contingency that our country is living, it is necessary to enhance virtual education and that is not only a consumer good but alsoa social good, which allows all quality education, but mainly to the most vulnerable socio -economic groups.
