Mesoamerica’s story since its inception

The area which is known as Mesoamerica, which was the one that covered approximatepart of the center. In Mesoamerica there were many cities which were governed by the kings to whom the Spaniards put them as name Caciques.

Those rulers were almost all men of the manors or of the small states which were located in Mesoamerica, however in the race of the same half of them were women were. The most powerful manors what they did was that they began to conquer the other lords, whether of their region or are from the areas which were considered the neighboring areas and those who won forced them to pay a tribute. Those who headed alliances and who speak won many conquests had a very large amount of money.

A case like that was that of the Empire of Mexico that at that time was Tenochtitlán, that his domain became the goal of the army of General Hernan Cortes. In the pre -Hispanic area of Mexico it is divided into three cultural areas which were called by the name of Aridoamerica. Due to its aridity, that region was not hurried for farmers to do agriculture. Consequently, it made it populated by groups which remained from hunting and collection, and that they lived in various camps throughout the year. The set of settlements that were surrounded by arid lands, in which there lived groups of collectors or groups of hunters which if they practiced agriculture is known as oasisamerica. Some of these agricultural peoples were the mountain areas of which are currently the states of Sonora and Chihuahua. The most explored site which was the most important of ancient oasisamerica is Paquimé, which is located in the current place that is Chihuahua.

The first Spanish expedition that had contact with the Mesoamerican peoples was that of General Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba in the 16th century, four years later, General Hernan Cortes and his army which were helped by several indigenous peoples of the enemies of the enemies of the enemies ofMexica, conquered the city of Tenochtitlan. The complex system of tax provinces that created the Mexicans and their allies I remain very quickly under the control of those led by General Hernan Cortes and a few years later much of the old part of Mesoamerica became much of the territory of the Spaniards. After the conquest of the military, the Spaniards used the political structures and social structures of the indigenous so that they could impose their domain and take advantage that they had an existing wealth. The mechanisms of tribulation which were known since the natives prevailed, and after that a great distribution of land among the colonizers began.

From little to little, those of Spain promoted a deep transformation in technology and religion into culture among the peoples in which the indigenous people lived. The first Spanish people who lived with the Mesoamerica indigenous. The shipwreck occurred in the year of 1511 and at that moment in which the expedition of Hernán Cortes arrived in which it is the current territory in which it is located in Mexico, and at the time of the shipwreck only two people survived two people. One of those people was Gonzalo Guerrero who had adapted to life among those of the Mayan population, and in fact this expeditionary contracted in marriage, he also had several children and in addition to that he also directed some Mayan manor in their resistance against theFrom the Spanish government. The other survivor was the priest Geronimo de Aguilar, he had already been enslaved in the past, but he with great wisdom managed to escape and joined the fleet of Hernan Cortes. His work was to translate the Spanish language from the Spanish language which was very useful for the conquerors.

In the 16th century, Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba toured a large part of the thing belonging to the Yucatan Peninsula. A year after that, Juan de Grijalva headed a new expedition, which the coast of the current Gulf of Mexico and that expedition landing in the current Rio Panuco. From the second half of the 17th century and the first half of the 18th century, the economy at that time New Spain experiencethe inhabitants, and thanks to that a greater resistance to certain diseases which were suffered by some inhabitants who lived at that time. These factors did was produce a great increase in the population of that time. Thus, while in 1650 the population of the Spaniards was 126,000 people and 100 years later increased 600000 people. In that same way, the number of mestizos and the residents of African origin increased significantly in that period of time, also the indigenous, which were always the most affected by the case of epidemics proliferated during that time of 100 years.

Population growth was constantly movement since from then. In the 18th century, the total population of ancient New Spain was 3336000 people. And in the year of 1810 which, the year of the start of independence was already approximately 6122000 people, in the total number of inhabitants that number was doubled by the people who had before. This demographic recovery occurred differently in the different regions of El Virreinato, in addition to that, not all social sectors grew in the same way since by the second half of the 18th century, the most populated intentions of El Pasas de Mexico were Puebla were, Oaxaca, Guadalajara, Michoacan and Merida.

On the other hand, the territories of the north and the coasts remained practically the way in which no only inhabitant grew. In the year of 1808 when Napoleon took the country of Spain, the Spaniards who lived in New Spain lost much of their power, which took advantage of those in Mexico that were not the Spaniards to begin the war of independence of El Paísfrom Mexico. The war was officially convened on September 16, 1810, with the shout of Dolores, when Miguel Hidalgo and Costilla with his men played the bells of the Church of Dolores to call weapons to all those who wanted the independence of the country of the country ofMexico. The announcement of the war was partly as a consequence of the conspiracy of The State of Querétaro, a movement that sought to gather weapons to face the Spanish authorities, but that when that movement was discovered by the Spaniards caused the cry of Dolores. The first battles of the war came out victoriously for all Mexicans, but after not being able to take Mexico City his thrust was falling into mince. In the year of 1811, in the battle of El Puente de Calderón the Mexicans were defeated by the Spaniards, and the leader of the Mexican troops, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, was shot after losing that battle. After this defeat, the Mexicans sought to get a good organization the successors of Hidalgo were José María Morelos and Pavón and Ignacio López Rayón. Morelos proved to be a great general winning a large amount of battles both in the south and in the center of the country, taking many provinces, and making the national movement take shape.

Even with all his victories, Morelos could not escape death, being captured and shot in the year of 1815. His death was a hard blow to the independence movement, but the fight continued. And in the year of September 16, 1821, Mexicans proclaimed the independence of their country Mexico and managedAlready live without the Spaniards were enslaving all Mexicans and could already live free from the slavery of the Spaniards.
