María “A forbidden Love”
When we think of love we can make our thoughts fly and we can think of that great Colombian writer named Jorge Isaacs, who for his beautiful stories makes us take to know how the different romantic and realistic currents can be mixed in a novel.
This is why I have realized the different characteristics that can be presented in future Latin American novels, but what the book entitled María shows us for her writings shows us how the love of two people who unfortunately has a family kinship, since they are cousins, they could somehow say that they are the main characters of Jorge Isaacs’ literary work, these characters are called Efraín and María.
Maria was a 15 -year -old girl who unfortunately suffered an incurable disease, Efraín is the cousin who has loved her in secret and silent and due to the circumstances of the destination Efraín had to go to England to continue and finish her medical studies.
The author uses a subtle way to wrap us with the lines and stories in the story that shows us where the romance and tragedies that María and Efraín pass him, to be together which can contrast with sublime and beautiful moments that meThey made the imagination fly and be able to live every moment as if I were in contact or living the story.
This story is related in an indisputable way that I captive as two brothers raised since childhood and both felt an affection of each other that when time spent that love was growing by revealing that each one felt something for the other, but not everything was easyfor the couple, so when they were cousins, they presented difficulties or barriers which did not let them be happy together, but the essence of the author’s form that shows us the detail in a way by memorized the beautiful places such as nature, love, love,anguish, tragedies of history and some life expectancy to find that love that has flourished in that couple.
When reading we are going to introduce ourselves more in the history of Maria, a beautiful fifteen -year -old girl who sadly suffers from a different disease from the mother, her first and true love who was in England to finish her studies, toHe arrives a letter where he says how bad he was for that reason Efraín made the decision to make a ship immediately to Colombia to see his beloved, two months after receiving the letter arrived in Colombia, I took for his house in theValle del Cauca but a friend of Efraín’s father told him that they were in another place.
After Efraín arrived, he realized that her family had black clothes and Maria was notThey were sad, but Efraín felt a great void in his heart, but more a great sadness for not seeing his beloved for the last time, after all Efraín returned to England to fulfill the promise to Maria to finish her studies and get ahead.
In the way the writer made me immerse myself in history more and more, he made me realize that I felt that I lived the story in my own flesh, made me feel nostalgia of knowing love and inspired to get to love and be loved, the book Maria is a great literary history in which I take for a trip to inexplicable places, in short, a great learning lesson to be able to read the book by Jorge Isaacs entitled "Maria".
