Marcian chronicles analysis
The Martian chronicles is a series with a variety of stories and is written by the American writer, Ray Bradbury. He was born on August 22, 1920 in Waukegan, Illinois and died in Los Angeles, California on June 5, 2012. This was a mystery writer of the fantastic genre, terror and science fiction. He is known for his work Marcianas, which was launched in 1950 and Fahrenheit that was launched in 1953 which is a fictitious novel. A storyteller with a series of moral goals had been considering. In his works Bradbury talks a lot about what is the destiny of humanity, about infinite spaces and the end of eternity.
Ray Bradbury gave him this name because he narrates chronologically about the colonization of Mars for the human race. In 1953, Bradbury published the Martian chronicles and is a very sad amount of poetic descriptions about Mars and the Martians. Also, he is talking about what American society was at the time of the same writer, Ray Bradbury. As is called the book "The Martian Chronicles", it deals with humanity in a general sense. On the feeling that the men of self-destruction have, in "out of season" it is about racism doing the Martians, also as in "a path through the air" that deals with human beings."Soft rains will come" talks about the small thought that man has to nature and the universe itself.
In this series there are a variety of heroes which are seen in the process of each story. He talks about Captain John Black who was of legal age, had a great reasoning ability and also, he was captain of the second expedition to Mars. Captain Wilder who is Middle Ages, has a great ability to think and see things in different points of view, has the quality of being very empathetic and this helps him understand Spender and the concern he has for the Martians, alsoIt was the captain of the fourth expedition to Mars. Captain John Williams, a Lord of Middle Ages, with a slightly stubborn personality who wanted to impress the Martians for having arrived from the earth and they did not give importance and the attention that he hoped to recover, was also captain of the second expeditionloving You. There is also Captain Jeff Spender, he was young and medium -height, he was a dreamer but with a very closed mind, which lives in his own world. Spender was part of the fourth expedition and until finally managed to better understand the culture of Martian civilization.
There are also secondary characters that can be seen in the process of each story. Mr. K had a character for being so jealous, grumpy and it was said that he had a cold heart. Mrs. K unlike her husband, she was a dreamy and could easily be surprised. Both belonged to the Martian race. He was Hathaway, physically he was an older but psychologically he was a very intelligent person, he was married and with two children, he was also part of the crew for the fourth expedition to Mars. Sam Parkhill was part of Wilder’s crew, he came to retire and wanted to install the first Hot Dogs position on Mars. There was also Benjamin Driscoll who was responsible for Mars’s reforestation.
This begins with a crisis that is happening on planet Earth, dealing with an atomic war and the State decidesbe safe from war and all the damage that could cause. The first expedition to Mars was a failure, since Mr. K killed the crew because he could not control his jealousy, because he thought that Mrs. K was going with the captain and I was going to leave. The colonization of humans on Mars is achieved after the fourth expedition, because the Martians came to extinguish after a disease that arrived in one of the previous expeditions. A big problem arose during history and it was that a part of the earth exploded and sent a message to Mars asking all the men to return to earth, every time things get worse. Already ending the story, he ends with a family that managed to escape from the war that was happening on the planet Earth and could reach Mars, look at them in a lake and see their reflection, they come to see that the Martians are now they are now.
Of all the heroes and captains for the expeditions to Mars, the one I liked the most was Captain Wilder. I like it and catches my attention because it is the one with the most open mind, you see the things of another point of view and look for options, it does not go the easiest way. It has a quality which seems very important to me and it is empathy, because it achieves and makes the effort to understand others and put on their shoes.
I recommend this book 100% and more to young people now, because it speaks a lot about what life, humanity and how things are at different points that are very important.
