International Relations that India maintains
Due to the great market of India, we can say that powerful countries need their economy, especially for their workforce that enjoys high qualification and good fluency speaking English. This state previously considered poor, has managed to be the second with the greatest economic development, whose average growth is 8% of GDP. Due to the amount of population that lives in India, its role when making decisions through the consensus of various countries with respect to international problems such as catastrophes prevention or environmental issues is crucial.
From the point of view of the United States, India can be a very valuable ally due to its potential in the international aspect. Although the relationship between these two countries has always been bathed by disagreements, currently the North American country has contributed to accommodating India in aspects such as nuclear and, in return, the Hindu country has become a main partnerIn Washington. Diplomatically speaking, India in great improved its relations with China, with which its relations were not always good, and we can also see a greater presence in the European sphere.
However, we cannot say the same about their relations with neighboring countries. The affinity of India with Pakistan shines for its absence, thus triggering numerous cases of armed clashes by both countries, however Hindu diplomacy took the victory after the terrorist attack at its headquarters in 2001. India has a varied foreign policy and has various objectives, for example is one of the countries that advocate the reform of the United Nations Organization to be part of a security council as a permanent member.
Taking into account everything said previously it could be said that India is a country worth admiring for progress that has been glimpsed over the last years, becoming part of the BRICS group (‘BRICs refers to Brazil, Brazil,Russia, India, China and South Africa, all considered emerging economies, with great potential, which can become among the dominant economies in the middle of the century. In conclusion, the instruments most used by the aforementioned country to defend their interests would be the economic ones due to the improvement of GDP and its position in the international sphere economically speaking.
