Important characters in the history of the car

Throughout the history of the car, many people and companies have tried to stay in force until today, each one has had a long and exhausting trip for which they have reached excellence and prestige that accompanies them today.

To design a car first they had to have an engine that could move a large structure. For that we must travel in time towards 1860 that was when the first internal combustion engine was built by the Frenchman Etienne Lenoir, which was 2 times, and in 1863 the 4 -stroke, he was a Belgian engineer, naturalized French,He was the first to create an internal combustion engine in a car, which had a weight of about 20 tons, with him toured 6 km in 3 hours, at that speed a person walking could normally advance it, so his engine was notreliable to use it in a vehicle on a larger scale. But that engine was the starting point that other engineers of the time used to create their own engines, or at least try.

The engine mentioned above was significantly improved by the German Nikolaus Otto, in collaboration with Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach that, in 1876, perfected the 4 -stroke.

Having the base as was the evolution of the engines, the different people and companies could begin to design and produce their vehicles, one of the first was the one we know today as Mercedes-Benz, which in its beginning was called Daimler-Benzand Daimlerchrysler. They made the first vehicle that had 3 wheels, it was not until 1893 that they built a 4 -wheeled vehicle which was named as Benz Victoria. It was for the Austrian distributor Emil Jellinek, who was the one who scored the vehicles with the name of his daughter, "Mercedes", and in the end after a while I endthe present day.

Another brand that marked a before and after was Ford, who were the first to assemble cars in series in 1911, due to their high demand, in their time by the United States, which had half of the cars made made madeBy Ford Motor Company, being the president of the John S company. Gray and Henry Ford Vice President. In just 15 months of production they made a total of 1700 vehicles, which were model A, it is not until the T model that was the most time manufactured model until then (19 years of manufacturing). 

In 1919 Edsel Ford, son of Henry Ford, remains as president of the company, and finally the family becomes the only owner of the company.
