Human resources, a sustainable competitive advantage

In the first instance, competitive advantages such as;Cost leadership, differentiation etc., That the companies of the past were raised to become successful worldwide, they were left behind due to the new millennium, since, currently companies have as a great competitive advantage, make the most of the resources it has, amongThey manage in an adequate way to their employees, because, thanks to these people who are the engine of the company, due to their dedication, initiative and at the same time considered assets of great importance for their development, organizations are obligedTo listen to their employees, in order to identify possible situations that they are presenting, therefore, the company will have more delivery workers to carry out their activities, these being more profitable and innovative. For this competitive advantage to be sustainable over time, the company must consider several strategies such as;training, seminars, acknowledgments, salary rewards, promotions among others.

On the contrary, not everything is easy for companies, whose managers should look for the most appropriate way to perform feedback with their employees, for this reason, there are countless procedures to change the style of directing what today todayIt is known as human resources.

First, the company must value its employees and allow them to carry out their activities according to their knowledge, without due pressure by their superiors, since they are able to meet all the objectives that are proposed, increasing performanceIn the assigned position. These people lead to having a positive attitude, therefore, they tend to do their job with more enthusiasm, be pro assets, contribute with their knowledge and at the same time be more effective in complying with the proposed goals. Meanwhile, that a worker when he presents a negative attitude in his position, due to ill -treatment for the bosses, low salaries, non -optimal conditions of the space where he exercises his functions, consequently, this is reflected in his daily activities within the company. Resulting in workers have laziness, discouragement, disagreement and low self – esteem.

While there is more motivation, by a company or by managers to their workers, they will develop different skills that will be reflected with the passing of time, therefore, so that an employee can pay 100 % must go through a cycleTo develop different talents, this cycle is headed by the attitude demonstrated by the worker in situations that are presented to him, for this the employee must be motivated by his high controls, which develops skills that are reflected in his actionsdaily, this results in positive results, which to be accepted must be evaluated, determining the level of knowledge that the employee has acquired, which this better interprets the criticism received.

However, a worker can also present reactive attitudes, where they are limited only to performing specifically assigned tasks, consequently, the bosses motivate them with both economic and material rewards, which harms the worker’s performance to perform their work, since managers force them to carry out specific activities, which makes the worker become a person dependent on his bosses, since he becomes unable to make their own decisions. Likewise, this type of worker goes through a cycle that consists in that the more the worker presents a reactive attitude, his only motivation will be extrinsicly, which makes him dependent on his bosses, limiting himself only to the minimum fulfillment of his activities, being able toThis making mistakes in established activities.

Similarly, there are pro -active attitudes, which is valued by the company, the people who present this attitude are able to solve any situation that are presented to them, being more active, responsible, disciplined, sociable and also that they take initiative to carry outTheir own activities, these types of workers lead to motivate themselves both extrinsically and intrinsically, which make them independent to meet the proposed objectives, in the same way, this has a cycle that entails that an active worker is usually more enthusiastic, they trustIn itself and in its abilities, but its motivation can be both economical and of its own initiative, which results in an independent talent aimed at making its own decisions and at the same time assume risks, guaranteeing success with excellent results, which, whichIt becomes a challenge for any active pro professional.

Additionally, there are companies that are willing to direct them through competences, this is especially based on detecting the different skills requesting a job, so that the worker who occupies that position, can pay to a higher level of the required one, but for that the company must establish the person who meets all these capacities so that their performance is superior and thus the company can develop more competitive advantages, then, it is being considered that the human resource of the company evolves.

People who focus on working by competencies, develop a cooperative attitude, this behavior presents qualities such as support, friendship, cooperation, contribution etc., at the time of working together or individually. With this type of attitude, at the same time of external and internal motivation, the transcendent motivation is developed, which gives rise to an employee of the best of him, in his daily responsibilities, above all, helping his co -workers,demonstrating his generosity. This type of person displays an interdependent aptitude, which means that he is prepared to give everything with his own initiative and works as a team so that together they can achieve the objectives, that is, the success of the company, in addition, to avoidPossible errors in the development of tasks, the bosses intervene as coaches, that is, they fulfill the role of driving, perfecting, educating employees so that their performance is the best. Likewise, this has a cycle that begins that when a person demonstrates a cooperative attitude, he is able to contribute more giving the best of him, which makes him an interdependent person for the organization, thus fulfilling his responsibilities and working onequipment.

However, the directors of the companies to be able to reach their employees and that they give the best of them, developing different skills within it, must opt for the best management style so that their human resource (workers), demonstrate thehidden talents that carry inside and thus among all can reach the company’s mission.

Finally, the second and third problem goes hand in hand, because most companies do not have the necessary and optimal tools for what mentioned above, that is, the solutions that arise to change the way of directIn practice, this is usually due to problems due to lack of trained personnel in the area of human resources, workers with the enthusiasm of giving their best not only for the economic, but by their own overcoming, on the other hand, companiesAt present they are not considering within their strategies their human talent, that is, they leave aside what is now considered as a competitive advantage for them.

What is happening in the socio -economic environment?

Subsequently, as time passes and the digital era advances in the new decade, companies choose to renew the way they handle their organizations, due to the simple fact that new technology appears, different forms of production among others. Therefore, it is expected that organizations must go with the technology, for this reason, currently some companies begin to establish new strategies that help them in the future to continue with their business success. Among one of these strategies could be the "sustainable competitive advantage", which will allow companies., However, organizations that are choosing to develop competitive advantages, are not in the ability to end what began, staying halfway or may see it as something impossible due to several factors such as: high investments in research, trained personnel, trained personnel, innovation and above all time to be reflected in their success.

How to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage?

To begin, at present, the only way to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage is through the most important element for the company its human resources, that is how they handle their human talent, as motivated, reward to give the best of itself.

The Directorate of People as Sustainable Competitive Advantage
