Mental disorder therefore affects the way a person thinks, as he feels, behaves and relates to others. 

On the other hand, the most common mental disorders comprise unipolar depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, epilepsy, consumption of psychoactive substances, Alzheimer. 

Thus, autism or autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) correspond to a set of diverse alterations that affect neurodevelopment from childhood and remain throughout life;understanding alterations of communicative processes, social relations, behaviors, interests and activities of those who suffer from it. 

Specifically, autistic spectrum disorders are characterized by motor deficits, which remain throughout life, but fortunately can be approached from physiotherapy. Here the figure of the physiotherapist becomes indispensable in the objective of achieving an early intervention of the child taking advantage of cerebral plasticity, which allows him on the one hand to influence the development of the minor, and on the other hand improve his quality of life in what corresponds to inclusionSocial. 

For this, the physiotherapeutic treatment of the patient with autistic spectrum disorder resorts to various resources that, in the current clinic they have an important efficacy and a determining role in development. For example, in water treatment, the physiotherapist has not only the possibility of influencing the motor deficit, but also in the common deficits of autism, bond and communication.
