This medical facility provides services to both inpatient and outpatient, medical and surgical health services. It has various centers such as AIDS/HIV center, clinical center, and the spinal cord rehabilitative center. The services offered at Miami VA health care system are facilitated through various departments. The organizational structure for this health care facility controls and coordinates the roles, power and responsibilities for the employees ("IT Organizational Design | OpsDog," 2016). The primary purpose of the IT department in this facility is to develop, manage and maintain the technological field made up of hardware, software, procedures and systems.
