Great leader Nelson Mandela

Introduction

The purpose of the present work is to describe why I select this great leader which I consider from my point of view, so before mentioning my motives of choice, I want to start by explaining about your life. Nelson Mandela was an activist who defended racial equality in South Africa. He was born on July 18, 1918 in Mvezo, province of the Eastern Cabo, his father was head of a tribe, he lost his dad when he was 10 years old, he was in charge of one of his cousins, being with him, he lovedlisten to tribal bosses and from there I take importance to justice.

Developing

The age of 16 was part of a tribal council, in 1937 he entered a internship for blacks to study his higher education study. In 1941 he met Walter Sisulu with whom he had a good friendracial, which since years ago had been giving. In 1944, Mandela became one of the founding leaders of the Congress Youth League.

This belonged to Congress, the ideology of this mainly nationalist and anti -racist era. In 1948 thanks his great work came to power in South Africa, the National Party, which consisted of racism, a regime called Apartheid was created, in which only whites could exercise their right to vote, but the relations between whites andBlacks. This is a bit of the training that Mandela had, we see that since I was a child he had that gift or that love for justice, and thanks this I get very far, and I always fight for equality, it is what highlights the most of his person.

What is even more important was that he was deprived of his freedom for 27 years just because of the ideas he had, and this fact is absurd, but there were other times, but in 1990 they released him, in 1994 he became the first presidentBlack of South Africa, he spent 5 years in power. I chose Nelson Mandela because he was a person who looked for racial equality, and today is something that occurs yet, perhaps not in the same way, in which we have to give up seats to white people, I have passed throughThings that at the time affected in me.

I am a 19 -year -old girl with a clear brown skin, in high school many of my classmates made rude comments for being morenito and that did not love me, I didn’t even have so many "friends", to whom I spoke to them made me feel good in a certain way. At the time of knowing that I had to think about a person who will consider as a leader and leave a mark on me, I started investigating and analyzing each of those I had chosen, and without thinking so much I said Nelson Mandela, and I still moved memore than was deprived of his freedom for 27 years, just for the ideas he had.

About racial equality. In my day to day I try to be a good person, that I mean this, to treat and respect all equally, sometimes I do not receive the same treatment, even with teachers, I noticed the difference in treatment, I remember that in the firstSemester my teacher helped those who had left their subject, and I did not lie almost to all my classmates, only to me and another partner, and it is fine I understand that I would not help everyone, but it was something that bother me, that Being aprepared person do such acts. That is why I admire people who assert their rights, not to be intimidated so easy.

conclusion

I do not say that I am, but sometimes I lack courage to defend myself, yes, when I see that someone wants to feel more than another, I defend it, because I do not tolerate that, and I do it since I have memory, I did not care if it washigher, thin or with more force than me, even with the children I put me, and I still do it, but only when it comes to defending others, I just need to apply it in me. Finally I can say that Nelson Mandela was a great person and is remembered for being a human rights defender, and that nothing made him change his mind.
