This news can be seen by two slopes a positive and another negative one, the use that will be given to the platform depends a lot. I see it as a great opportunity for the communicative sector, as a way to enhance it. Every day we all look for information on Google, visually this news would stand out and many of the users of the platform would stop it. On the other hand, the search engine wants payment articles to be free, accessible to all. An amount of money will be paid so that users who are not subscribers of the environment in question can be read. It is a way that we are all more informed. It is even an equal distribution form of the information, since the person who cannot afford to pay for an article, can read it.
But every positive slope has its negative part. One of the consequences that can lead to this is that all means will not be. Google will work as a filter and in the end you will count the media services of your preference. New Showcase can become a platform with a lack of plurality. Where only the great media would have cavity, leaving the rest sections of this opportunity. A key point is copyright, Google can end up using them to your liking. It is worrying about small editors, they may not see so valued work and lose these rights. In my opinion I see more likely that Google ends up breaking the copyright. Little editors are in danger, I see them what are most danger of suffering the abuses of this giant. Seeing the current panorama of international legal problems that surround the search engine, my perspective grows even more that the copyright of the media will end up violating the copyright.
