Franz Kafka’s novel: The process

Developing
Joseph k. An ambitious and young employee one morning, on his thirtieth birthday, is arrested by two guards. As the novel develops, Joseph is increasingly lost in the labyrinth of the road that has been presented to him. The test is executed silently and continuously. Everything had already been completed before it began. K. He was guilty in advance and therefore convicted. His life was determined, the days and hours were counted and the moment of death was known precisely.
The trial, initiated at the request of a stranger, ends with the murder for unknown reasons. Guilt is based on the fact of existence. The invisible court is caught and the defendant complains in these processes without saying a word. The world is a strange landscape and life is an attempt to extinguish the unknown. In the process, not only the world is alienated, but also your own being.
In the book events there is nothing sure. Joseph k. slowly enters the soul of fear and the feeling of insecurity because the invisible world of laws and regulations have a power over it. Invisible bureaucracy, dusty rooms. Accused and arrested, I didn’t know why he was accused and how to defend himself. The hero is blamed in itself until it is completely penetrated, rounded and captured.
The apprehension of the culprit generally reaches the end of a crime story. But in "The process" of Franz Kafka, the arrest is pointed out in the first prayer. In most mystery stories, the reader’s curiosity wakes up with the pressing question of who committed the crime. In Kafka’s work the part in which the culprit is revealed is known from the beginning, but the crime he committed and for what is charged is by far clear. Other guilty flee from the law, but Joseph K. confronts the judicial system that has accused him of an unknown crime.
As history develops, other mysteries arise, but, once again, not those that normally appear in crime stories. Who are the authorities that make the charges? What is the evidence? What is the process to decide your innocence or guilt? What are the penalties and punishments? Even the importance of being ‘under arrest’ is uncertain, since k. is never taken to jail.
Kafka does everything possible to emphasize the daily qualities of its history. He rushes to remind readers that ‘K lived in a country with a fair judicial system, whose rules were applied in the most appropriate way. The routine rituals and the responsibilities of everyday life continue as usual, even after the arrest of Joseph K: he still attended to work, he consulted with friends, he saw family members, everything continued without significant interruptions. Even so, judicial procedures followed their disturbing course. The same places where they take place, in the attic of a house, or in the room of a woman in a pension, or the storage place in a bank, blur the lines between the daily world and the formal environments that we generally associate with matterslegal. In the world upside down of Kafka, the places where justice is done to the places where, in other novels, crimes could be committed.
conclusion
The work consists of the struggle of a man to demonstrate his innocence in a process that is meaningless and ends in his death. Throughout almost the entire novel, Joseph K. Try to be pardoned by a crime that never mentioned, that not even the reader can discover. Although "the process" was left in an unfinished state, Kafka tried to close the work in a dramatic final scene. However, even in the end, Joseph K. He wonders where the judge is, where is the Superior Court: ‘Were there arguments in its favor? This goes hand in hand with the message of existentialism since life makes no sense, everything ends in death anyway, since k. It is outraged by the way I was going to die and how absurd it was going to be illustrates perfectly with the meaningless struggle and the final conviction in the work. The inconsistencies in the plot remain and the drafts of chapters unfinished are added to the ambiguity of the final work, but these hardly subtract value from the work. In fact, one feels that this is a mystery in which the author deliberately wanted many elements to remain unsolved.
