Favores and Agrifood Chain

Introduction

Luisa Elena Molina gives us her position from the agri -food chain and qualifies it simultaneously, she says that the starting point is agriculture, which aims to food. Here is a complex succession of stages and varied activities that are developed within societies in order to achieve the supply of products that are destined, directly or indirectly, to human food.

There is no exact definition for agri -food systems, since this phenomenon touches facts and processes from numerous perspectives, in the act of eating and the food gesture; They also operate numerous bío-physical, historical, cultural, technological, economic and political phenomena. These production systems have changed, not only in the productive transformations that occurred, but;In the advances of science and technique. Applied to agri -food activities.

Developing

And, María del Carmen Hernández Moreno and Angélica Villa Mr. Medina, calls the theme of food complex, for being a basic element in nutrition; That is why the globalized agri -food system has become a competition axis. And, it is characterized by the reorganization of food production and distribution processes, where the most proactive consumer is, which is always attentive to risks, quality and competition.

That is why the social relationship is configured, because within the agri -food system some producers are unable to maintain or achieve quality standards imposed by consortiums that dominate their market. Where globally, the agri -food system has become the axis of competition that reconfigures social and economic relations in the processes of production, transformation, distribution and consumption of food.

Ricardo Abadía Sánchez and Joaquín Melgarejo Moreno González Rodríguez, these authors give their economic point of view, in terms of production and distribution. And they say that the agri -food system is a set of all activities that concur to the formation and distribution of food products and, consequently, to the fulfillment of the function of human food in a given society.

This corresponds to the three main sectors of economic activity of the agricultural sector, which is the agri -food industry and the distribution. This economy focuses on an analysis that is made up of these three components;of the agri -food chain that is important to increase the economic efficiency and well -being of consumers;referring to the three chain components.

The three authors cited give definitions around the supply chains, their point of view varies, in terms of concepts. But in something if they agree, is that agri -food chains; They have a mission and is to take food to the table with quality standards, and efficiency. They indicate that chains are governed by the economy they generate through added value.

Quintero, Johanna;Sánchez, José says that the value chain is a very effective strategic thinking tool, this action makes the chain, more competitive the product globally. The main idea of systems;is that there is an interdependence between all the links of the chain, so that the system can work.

conclusion

The entire structure of the systems are directed to the same, but María del Carmen Hernández Moreno and Angélica Villaseñor Medina, say that talking about food is a complex issue, because not all agri -food producers are able to maintain or reach the standardsquality imposed by the consortiums that dominate their market. This action harms the food security of consumers, which would cause food transmitted diseases.
