Fausto’s mefistopheles

Introduction

The work begins with a dialogue in which God tells Mephistopheles that, he will not be able to corrupt a man named Fausto. The devil, Mephistopheles, feeling offended accepts the challenge and undertakes his plan to seduce him. First, he introduces himself to the wise doctor Fausto who poetry innumerable knowledge, but was extremely unhappy and was even about to take a brew to end his life definitely.

Developing

 The doctor asks the devil to be with an innocent young man named Margarita. Margarita in her eagerness to be alone with her lover gives her mother a position, but exaggerates in quantity, killing her parent. Valentín, soldier and brother of the girl, claims Fausto with his sister’s dishonor, but also dies with the help of the devil. 

Fausto and Mephistopheles attend a dark ritual called Walpurgis Night. Margarita is serving in jail because she drowned her own son, Fausto offers her help to get out of there, but she refuses because the madness is on the edge. Margarita dies repentant in Fausto’s arms, a voice of heaven is heard saying that she is saved.

In the second part, the line of the first is not completely followed. Fausto is now in a fictional world, together with Mefistopheles he meets an emperor and after helping him get money, he asks them to bring Helena and Paris. Seeing them, Fausto falls in love with Helena but after an explosion this is unconscious. The devil takes him to his old room, meanwhile Wagner, in his laboratory, was creating a homunculus this new being awakens Fausto of his unconsciousness. 

conclusion

Mephistopheles brings Helena to Fausto with deception and he declares her love, she corresponds and fruit of it have a son named Euphorion. Some time later, he dies when trying to fly. Fausto now wants land near the sea so the devil makes the emperor gain a war. That is why the emperor rewards him by giving some land to the banks of the sea. 

Fausto, with one hundred years of age, builds his own palace and widens his land artificially towards the sea, fulfilling his desire. He always tries to build a society in which peace and justice reign. In his final monologue, he reflected about what life would be like if his dream was fulfilled. “Then I could instantly say: Stop, you’re so beautiful!”, It was the last sentence that came out of Faust’s lips. After his death, the devil and his henchmen made the attempt to take his soul. However, a choir of angels comes and takes it. Mephistopheles curses that Fausto’s soul has taken him, and thus culminates one of Goethe’s most successful works.
