Family with children with disabilities
Introduction
The reason for this essay is to know some considerations for interventions in families that have people with disabilities under their responsibility, in order to have certain orientations about behavior and intervention, with the purpose of reducing the impact on both the individual and inThe family environment.
Developing
We are going from our Constitution of 2008 that in the form of synthesis refers to the enjoyment of rights without any discrimination, and recognizes all priority care groups, with this antecedent we know that the Ecuadorian State has several programs applied to attentionIn services such as: Good living, inclusion, equality, universality, integrality all of them marked in the principles of social policy, where priority groups must be included equally.
We understand that in the family it is where much of our life develops and when a child with disabilities is born within this event, this event affects family dynamics, producing processes by which it must adapt, as the shock phase: in whichHe feels guilt for the events that have happened, the denial phase: the family does not want to accept the diagnosis, phase of sadness: the family or its main caregiver isolates, acceptance phase: there is more security for the raising of the child, and finally the phaseReorganization: Finally accept the child and disability they manage to release feelings.
All these effects can generate crisis in the family, so the intervention of the family doctor, psychology, social work, among others for comprehensive intervention, where as family doctors we must first seek in the family what their support networks are, what are their support networks,What are the strengths they have, in order to externalize that having a person with disabilities within their family nucleus.
Among the interventions we could do is:
- Social participation: creating spaces where the patient and his family can relate to other people.
- Integration into the community: where they share all the services that your community has
- Family: Improve the relationship of the family through the reorganization of daily activities, care, and create spaces to share with family provided for signs of affection to the person with disabilities.

The main thing in what we must work is to identify the needs of this family, identify strengths and resources, train familyThat we are going to face, always respecting their privacy, patiently, availability as soon as it is within our reach, in this way we can have enough for an adequate approach in families with children with disabilities.
