The eradication of child labor is a public policy and the Dominican Republic is not oblivious to this reality, so it is necessary to establish as a specific goal having a country free of work and child exploitation, so it is important to develop research workthat promote the imperative need to reform the Code of Children and Adolescents, which although it includes protection and sanctions measures for those who violate the provisions related to child labor, it requires, the implementation of more rigorous sanctions are real or personal at the level at levelGeneral for all those who promote, allow and even tolerate child labor exploitation activities to children and adolescents in our country.
In the analysis of the writings, the usual terms of use that are related to the labor exploitation of children and adolescents are developed;The legal regulations in force in our country have been reviewed and analyzed initiating by the Constitution, which contains the rules of greater hierarchy, then the provisions of the Labor Code (Law 16-92) and the Code for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (Law 136-03), referring to the subject raised;The criteria of different authors who have written about child exploitation have also been analyzed, considered a bad circumstance that affects all the countries of the world, hence the importance of this research that answers a social and legal shortage.
