Essay on extraterrestrial life on Mars
In 1877 the astrologer Giovanni Schiaparelli made a map of Mars after his first observations of Mars, on the map he pointed natural structures to which I call channels. Many celebrities and important people supported the theory in the 19th century. But in the middle of the twentieth century space probes commanded from Earth sent images of a surface equal to that of the Earth. After many years of believing the theory ended up being incorrect, but why?
Astrologer Giovanni Schiaparelli made observations with his type of channels. At first the theory had no strength until several languages was translated. Camille Flammarion (writer) then said that it was a hydraulic construction made by Martians. Some time later another astrologer named Lowell graduated from Harvard who was fascinated by Flammarion’s books wanted to find evidence that there were Martian channels. He built several observatories around the world where I investigate more thoroughly on the subject.
The invention of photography helped to better verify its theory. I take several photographs of Mars, but its size was less than one centimeter. In the scientific method you always have to have exact and relevant data and that commands all the theory below. Much later astrologers such as Eugène Antoniadi with better telescopes observed that they were complex bright matrices, and that what Lowell observed was an optical illusion. In addition, with new technologies it was found that the atmosphere and other data were not compatible with life on Mars. But it has not been the only inaccurate fact made by humanity. Centuries ago there was the theory that the sun revolved around the earth and not vice versa, it was also said that the earth was the center of the universe;The theory was called "the geocentric theory".

Returning to the channel theory, not quite was wrong. As well as the land on Mars there are poles, which are frozen today. But long ago there could have been life as microbes or other species. But also you cannot draw conclusions without having precise data, for that you need to go to Mars and do experiments, tests and analysis of its atmosphere, floor and structure. Although there are no famous channels on Mars there is a curiosity is that there are giant craters such as the Marineris Valley. In conclusion, it is important to have relevant and exact data before theorizing and generalizing.
