Today electronic commerce allows us to venture any type of work that you want to do, since consumers have the possibility of entering a web page or can also do so through a social network, from anywhere in the world in thethat they are, as long as the company proposes strategies to attract customer interest.

The good thing about using electronic commerce is that because it is a virtual store, the customer can be served 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, depending on the place of the consumer, it also allows us to maintain aactive communication where the customer can ask questions about the product and even present their complaints in seconds.

At present, online trade is not only profitability for large companies, but also gives the opportunity to small and medium entrepreneurs. This is of great financial aid since not being a physical store decreases payment costs, that is, it does not need to have many employees, in physical space profitability, among other expenses.

There are several types of electronic shops among them are the B2B, these are online environments that make the process between companies easier, there is also the B2C, these facilitate in the process of the company with the consumer, we also have G2C, because this is whenWe talk about the Government to the consumer.

Within electronic commerce are consumer rights and privacy in electronic environments, until a few years ago the trade was very limited that was not given anywhere, that is, there were limitations in activities. But thanks to the advance that technology has daily, you can do any type of activity and all this occurs due to the growing globalization, where the number of companies that sell services through electronic commerce grows daily.

It should be noted that selling through the Internet facilitates work, since there are no number of intermediaries with web portals and other technical means that allow payments, digital certificates, etc. But since everything good has its against, with electronic commerce the consumer runs the risk of being victims of fraud in the offers with the “information deficit“ since we cannot see the product physically but only in photographs. Also the legal insecurity in the contracts that become internationally scares the client a bit, since he does not know what right will be applied if any demand is submitted.

All these causes mentioned above cause distrust of the client to internet trade, which is why many countries have taken the respective measures to protect it through legislative norms. The online consumer has the right to know where exactly the company with which it is in commercialization is located knowing all the respective data. They also have the right to know what the transport expenses will be associated with the purchase to know these expenses and these should be known before purchase and not at the time the product is delivered.

To avoid identity theft, the client can cancel their data when necessary, it is essential that the consumer has communication with the company either by telephone or by any other means that facilitates an immediate response. There must also be delivery term, if the company does not deliver the product on the indicated date you must immediately inform the customer and offer compensation to recover the money that has paid until that time.

The consumer also has the right that if a product is damaged, it can request the repair or replacement of the product without having to pay any additional expenditure. All these rights are bent to constant evolution.

The development of ICT, these strive to provide a good quality service, since their function is not only to be intermediary but also look for clients who are in accordance with the service since this is very important in the process allowing to have agood reputation being this a good way to sell safely. In front of the consumer, it allows to have information on consumption skills having much more capacity when making a negotiation choice, one of the advantages it gives us is to save time while the internet search is done, the transparency of prices.

It can be added to omiconsumors, these are people who like to find information before making a purchase.
