Effective Leadership: Society and Leaders Figures
Introduction.
Leadership is the set of managerial or directive skills that an individual has to influence the way of being or acting of people or in a specific working group, making this team work with enthusiasm towards the achievement of their goals and objectives. It is also understood as the ability to delegate, take the initiative, manage, convene, promote, encourage, motivate and evaluate a project, effectively and efficiently, whether personnel, managerial or institutional (within the administrative process of the organization).
Developing.
It is the process of leading a group of people in a certain direction by non -coercive media. Leadership is the function occupied by a person who distinguishes the rest and is able to make accurate decisions for the group, equipment or organization that precedes, inspiring the rest of those who participate in that group to reach a common goal.
For this reason, it is said that leadership involves more than one person, who directs (the leader) and those who support him (the subordinates) and allow him to develop his position efficiently. Leadership is a set of skills that serve to influence other people’s way of thinking or acting.
Characteristics of effective leadership
- Intelligence: The leader needs to be intelligent to be able to think, analyze, dimension and design the necessary strategies for the achievement of the common objective.
- Integrity: It is a condition that goes hand in hand with ethics and represents the way values are rooted in the personality of the individual.
- Defines clear and precise objectives: which are essential for the success of the current project.
- Conviction power: To be able to get the team to understand and follow the guidelines designed to achieve common goals.
- Impartiality: to be able to assimilate various external opinions related to the idea implemented, and if necessary to accept errors and make the relevant corrective.
- Innovative: remain in constant search for new strategies and creative processes which allow new ideas to emerge.
- Promote teamwork: they delegate and trust the people who accompany them in the work team, allowing them to assume their own challenges.
- Communication Power: They are expressed properly and know how to assess the contributions made by their team members.
It is curious, but when you are looking for keywords, leadership examples, examples of world leaders or leaders do not usually appear too many names in female, right? Conclusions.
Effective leadership is one that is built giving the example, designing and implementing projects aimed at the growth of the organization. Effective leadership is simply the one that achieves results. The one who looks and not of which it is spoken. An effective leader puts over his desire to obtain recognition, the need to succeed and achieve success for both himself and others. It is not possible to be an effective leader without wanting to seek the good of the group before the own good. The "leaders" who think of their own well -being, are leaders by imposition and not by merit.
