Despair and transparency in the literary works of Chul, Rimbaud and Baudelaire

When we refer to the term "transparency" we talk about everything that represents being clear, obvious and organized. However, through the collection of writings recognized as “the society of transparency” we see how author Byung Chul tries to give his own meaning based on what is observed in the course of his life. When reading the passage "The Society of Transparency" from the same beginning I could witness the great concern and discomfort that the author tries to express. His freedom has been corrupted and he lives observing how negativity consumes the society in which we belong. Byung-Chul Han can already clearly visualize the way we become tolerant of self-exploitation and at the same time submissive of fatigue.

In the passage we can see the way in which the society of transparent ones have identified as a society of positivism. That is, anyone who lacks unknowns, mystery and negativity can completely understand the concept of transparency and its indispensable meaning before a society. How unmatched it can become a policy where there are no secrets or restrictions and we can express ourselves without being sanctioned by one and the other. That the media are not accomplices of social deterioration that we are living and that the damage that is caused so much ignorance is minimized. According to Han, transparency is one of the most acclaimed issues by the population which belongs, this may be because everything transparent tends to leave traces of freedom especially before the media. Transparency represents both positive paths and negative paths, it was not false when they told us that everything in excess hurts. This is why they have also tried to explain to us the relationship that this society has with what he calls "transparent time". According to the passage we can infer in saying "transparent time" refers to those moments that live without expecting anything from life. Those who simply enjoy without buts.

We can infer this thanks to the fact that in the passage they have clearly says “the transparent time is a time lacking every destination and event."On the other hand, he tells us" things become transparent when they strip off their uniqueness and express themselves completely in the price dimension."That is, we can consider everything that is said bluntly and with reality transparent. Regardless of the consequences that this can cause. Everything that is pure and cannot be assessed monetarily reflect transparency. They have emphasizes more than once how powerful the transparency can be before a society and more when making decisions. In the passage he says “transparency is a systematic coercion that seizes all social events and submits them to a deep change."That is, transparency is an extremely great factor to consider. You can even say that the success of any process or decision depends on this factor. This is because the insistence is great and the exposure of intensions is clear. Eliminating the possibility of unknowns and negativity. In short, transparency is indispensable in all processes of our life. "The transparent language is a formal, purely machine, operational language, which lacks all ambivalence …" citing these words we can clearly infer what they indicate. There is no way to confuse when transparency prevails in the updated aspect of your life.

When reading "a season in hell" I could automatically detect the amount of enervating feelings that the author tries to express. Among the most prominent is anguish, the penalty and without a doubt despair. Artur Rimbaud obviously I use his book’s title in a graphic way. That is, the expressed feelings and the number of situations that the narrates go to the time with how explicit the title can become. We can say that Rimbaud also battle with what they have established as the "Transparency Society".

Recall that the ideology raised by Han is that transparency is vital in every situation and phase of our daily lives. Something that clearly lacked Rimbaud’s narratives, especially in "bad blood" here we can see how the French author tries to express the penalties overwhelm him since he has use of reason, his roots and the battle he has against the morals imposed from his childhood. We can infer that this was what initially reasoned your work. In this part of the poem we can clearly observe that the amount of transparency is null. We are witnessing the way in which he drowns in his sorrows and despair for not touching. The feelings of being unusable and useless are at their best. It is full of unknowns and negativity, this completely represents the opposite of what we know as transparency. On the other hand in "Goodbye" we can notice improvement in a matter of attitudes and use of the term "transparency". Here we can infer that the arrival of autumn represents the end of his so -called hell. We begin to visualize the signs issued by Triunfo y Jubilo. Brands of overcoming, resistance and learning are also taken into consideration when comparing their attitude from at the beginning of the poem to the end. The subtitle that takes this part of the poem "Goodbye" represents for me a clear sign of detachment. The author effectively gets unleashed from those sorrows and false illusions that maintained his hell on fire. Him’s growth on a personal and psychological level has increased dramatically representing positivity and eventually transparency. Artur demonstrates to be at peace with himself after the storm.

On the other hand, the author of "Flores del Evil" Charles Baudelaire represents his work in a much more different way. Instead of clinging to sadness and despair Baudelaire focuses his poems around hatred and criticism. They are of vulgar origin and in them you can see the overload of negativity. A perfect example of this is the poem "El Albatros", this poem reflects a lot of criticism and negativity. This once again contradicts the definition that initially instilled in us regarding transparency. Personally, I think that Charles is undoubtedly the one who has had the most confrontations with the term "transparency". This is because Artur at least yields to a transformation process that eventually coincides with the term "transparency" but Baudelaire is much firmer in his thinking. His negativity is much more obvious than Artur’s and unlike Artur, Baudelaire represents a great disgust in religion. Having this said, we can conclude that transparency in Baudelaire will not exist unless he is who receives that positivism.

When we talk about vitality and dynamism we can determine that we talk about the specific qualities capable of producing success or innovation. Having this said, we can say that both Rimbaud and Baudelaire have the necessary skills to impact what modern transformations are today. Of course, in totally different ways. Rimbaud has the ability to impact through deep and fine letters. However Baudelaire impacts through strong and vulgar words. I think that is something to shake our generation drastically since it causes a much larger impression of first than a poem where you have to recapitulate a number of times to be able to capture that message in its entirety.
