Definition of freedom and its real existence
In this essay we will talk about the issue of freedom, to continue with this issue, how the main thing we have to know is what is the term of the word, "Libertad" comes from Latin: libertas, -ātis that refers to the ability toThe conscience to think and act according to the person’s own will. We also find several external definitions and for scholasticism is the absence of violence (coercion of all kinds).
We have to consider some points to understand more this term of freedom that is the exclusive possibility of human self-determination, unlike other living beings such as animals.
Among several philosophers (Kant, Hegel, Hartmann) of the whole story has been an immense discussion to be able to reach a definition of this word, to know what is the correct term of each of its different thoughts, the complexity of touching this topicIt should not be a reason for scare or decline of whoever wants to do it.
I will talk a little about the ways of thinking of some philosophers who consider in their own way the end of freedom, such as Kant. This philosopher refers to the fact that freedom is a moral characteristic of the human being that is linked to its rationality. This freedom is not a mental characteristic that can explain psychology from an empiricist approach, Kant avoids any approach to freedom that intends to explain it as the causal game of a series of impulses, feelings or desires, which is to deny freedom.
Hegel says that in modern life, freedom is identified with autonomous and independent behavior, this refers to anyone possessing it and this will or thought is that people take it as each one plan to have it or in the other caseNot having it, it is already in each of the individuals to make it valid.
Aristotle defines freedom as the ability of the human being to be able to act according to his own will, throughout his life, so he is responsible for his actions, this value is fundamental to life because it is actually the mediumTo get to happiness and it is very important to know how to differentiate it from debauchery because it is necessary to respect the imaginary lines that separate my freedom from that of others.
We will focus on a very common question that in my opinion is something very important for the different thought that each of the individuals, the question is, does freedom really exist?.
Freedom really exists, but for man it is a myth that finds it difficult to realize.
It would be too easy to say that freedom exists, but there are really many people and many cases that suggests that it is not really present for all individuals.
