Defining the word "globalization"

With the word "globalization", I mean the phenomenon that covers all areas at the planetary level, it became popular from the nineties, being present in all branches of human activity: economy, culture, politics, ecology, Religion etc. thus acquiring a multidimensional character.

Globalization appears as a period of the recomposition of capitalism for deregulation of markets, possible productive processes thanks to new technologies and also to the privatization of national economies, this situation contributed to the global expansion of the economy, through the internationalization of capital. Having as a preponderant element the vertiginous progress in communications that through the web, television, cell phone, computers, etc., They facilitated the flows of capitals and information above national borders. This reduced the distance between the entire world geography thanks to real -time communication, they make up the birth of supranational social space, which works independent of national borders and the jurisdiction of each country.

This is how I define globalization for the purposes of this comparative report, which consists of three readings, the activity will be focused first on: world economy trends: the new actors and agents of the globalization process in its economic dimension whoseAuthors are: Armando Jiménez and María Reimi of the Simón Bolívar University, second place globalization: political, economic and social aspects authors: García, Jambell and Pulgar, Nora and finally globalization, information technologies and cultural diversity: Homogenization Author Migdalia Pineda Pineda.

In relation to the trends of the world economy: the new actors and agents of the globalization process in their economic dimension, Martínez (2000) points out that “the economic dimension of the globalization process includes the following areas: finance, commerce and production” (Jiménez & Reimi, 2006. P 6). Here are analyzing the three areas cited through their forms of actors that intervene, the characteristics and some definitions of preponderant elements in the globalization process worldwide and concluded that in the financial level, the transnational character that pointsTowards the world having as its main element the share capital and the commercial area has a marked accent on the safety of its products (exports) through transnational companies (ETN) with geographical expansion and maneuvers worldwide and concludes indicating that it channels all that progresslead to a better development of less developed countries

In the second document the political, economic and social fields of globalization are examined., As a result, it is observed that while the current capitalist expansion project lasts on a planetary scale, globalization will tend to benefit a select group of highly developed countries, which translates into a notable fall in the quality of life worldwide, makingdifficult to overcome human development challenges.

The need for a paradigm and behavior change by society to achieve equitable economic and social development is concluded. With the word "globalization", I mean the phenomenon that covers all areas at the planetary level, it became popular from the nineties, being present in all branches of human activity: economy, culture, politics, ecology, Religion etc. thus acquiring a multidimensional character.
