Current social comparison and Greek mythology

In Greek mythology, in ancient times men abused women psychologically and manually. The woman has always been one of the main themes of literature. As inspiring muse, as a heroin or as a censurable object, the female figure has occupied an important space in literary works.

Of course, she has also been author, but, as such, she has constantly remained in the background, due to the marginalization she has suffered for centuries.

But that is not all from Greek mythology, women continue to pass the same suffering of abuse, made by men, today in this society women continue to suffer abuse caused by men, my question is until when violence against women,When it is evil in the world it will end.? Until when we are going to continue suffering to those people who bring us happiness.

At present, men similar to the gods, use women for their own benefit and for their pleasure, although some women like this type of men, not all are like that, there are others very reserved.

The men of the world some are very committed to the woman who leave her pregnant even marry her, on other occasions they enjoy one night leaving her alone and pregnant.

"In Latin America, we evidence. After having known the story of the god Zeus, the power he had and how bad he was, Zeus abused women, girls and young people and all of them left them pregnant, but Zeus was never responsible. Including other male gods they treated women as an object without feelings.

The woman, only in case of ill -treatment, could get the marriage to dissolve. For the rest, he spent his whole life confined at home, and was in charge of the care of children and slaves without being allowed to participate in public business. As a child he lived next to his mother and married at age 15 without being consulted. The life of women is not easy as that of men, they have more things to lose, as their virtue each of them look for a good man to have that possibility of having a healthy and responsible life.

Many women marry but that does not mean that there are respect, many are psychologically and violently attacked by the husband, many prefer to separate but do not have the money to do so. "The masculinity of society is so entrenched in our DNA that even some of them assume their role," and adopt behaviors that clearly go against their own interests, no longer as a woman, but as a person. In other arts of the ancient Greek culture, as in literature, there were always two very differentiated aspects between the role of man and that of women: the man linked to war, politics and culture, and the woman with aSlave position of mother and wife at the service of that saving man of all the evils of existence. The woman was mitigated as a symbol but in turn was degraded as a simple mortal.

"Fidelity and adultery had a particular character in this phase of history". If the man committed adultery at that time he had no negative vision about society, instead if a woman was unfaithful with another, his punishment was death, women had to always be next to men and always hadthan to be faithful.

Zeus cheated on Hera, his sister and wife, with other goddesses and mortals. Hera, on the other hand, was always loyal to Zeus, overturned her anger towards her husband’s lovers or the son. This is the case of Aphrodite, goddess of love and symbol of female carnal sin, unfaithful to her husband hefest, with whom Zeus forced to marry. The women were goddesses but did not have the same rights as men, they had to always be there for them and their needs. Women received punishments because of the god. Like when Zeus turned a cow, so that Hera did not realize, that was a punishment that she had to pay for the pleasure of Zeus, then she was punished by Hera and makes her walk around the world forever eternally.

We live in a macho society, where men say what to do and women have no word. This system of beliefs or ideology classifies by degrees of superiority and inferiority to human beings according to the degree to which they act; This classification is done according to the supposedly "essential", "natural" or "biological" expectations of what it represents being a "true man" or a "true woman". Women and men are classified since they are born, by other people, in this way machismo and feminism are created.

Each person is different but we must all have the same rights and the same as the other does not matter if he is a man and woman, we have to deal with respect because if that does not happen, the same would have happened as in Greek mythology, abuse towardswomen have to end.

In conclusion, abuse towards women is the same as that of Greek mythology, macho men abuse women just for pleasure, some mistreat them because they believe they are very men. If this continues to happen around us will be destroyed and will not make peace between men and women, it could be a dystopian place for both genres, everyone will be destroyed if we continue with the same problems and the samesituations of those times of the ancient Greek and its surroundings.
