Corruption in Mexico, according to the Royal Spanish Academy (2019), corruption is defined as any situation or circumstance in which the people involved act in a corrupted, unusual or so that they benefit themselves or abuse themselves or abuse His power. Based on this we can say that corruption is more common than we believe, corruption is present in many activities that we do every day.

Corruption occurs at all stages of human life, from simple actions that have not much impact, to actions that cause great damage to a large number of people. Although corruption is present in several stages of the human being, it is not something that is naturally presented, that is, corruption is a negative reflection of our society and is something we should eradicate.

In Mexico, corruption is a serious problem, according to international transparency, Mexico is among the four most corrupt countries in Latin America. When the corruption rates of a country are very high this tells us different things about their society. Corruption not only counts at government levels, corruption begins from citizens when they decide to sell their money vote; Start when a student decides to pay another to do his homework; Start when a teacher decides to approve a student for money or some favor that benefits him.

Corruption does not leave any good, this can simply verify countries that have high corruption rates, they are also countries that have high rates of poverty, crime and marginalization.

All this is due to different factors, among the main ones is the fact that, according to you, in Mexico the legal institutions call government, police, farm and so on, are considered unreliable and have the most transparency and legality indices more Low of Latin America, all this is proven with the opinion of the civilian population about these different institutions.

Corruption affects all who contribute and, or participate in it, it becomes a vicious cycle difficult to break, especially in a country like ours in which corruption is rooted in our culture and way of being, since many people They commit acts of corruption that for them are very common and normal to perform because they do not know what they are doing and the consequences that this brings.

Corruption only negatively affects countries, and this is a fact, since countries with higher corruption rates also have high poverty indices, it can be corroborated that corruption is related to poverty and crime.
