Using this hypothesis, Jack Kerouac’s On the Road, and Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn function to demonstrate the unchanging dynamics of social morality and social impetus. Written approximately 70 years apart; the two novels harbor striking similarities in the themes of relationships, morality and primarily the search for freedom.
