Communication on the web and social networks

Summary

Communication can be cataloged as one of the greatest milestones in the history of humanity since it was another step in our evolution, but when time passed it had changes and improvements that benefited us since all interaction we have, they have as a fundamental axisIn any of its forms. A few centuries ago there were many barriers that limited communication, but despite thissimilar roads. Today communication has become the most common even breaking the distance barrier, with all the tools at our disposal you can maintain contact with anyone in any part of the world something that years ago would have been unthinkable, not forgetting the amountIn information to which this can be accessed, this has facilitated the possibility of knowledge in almost any area, all the learning and educational material that can be found on the web is simply very extensive and is still growing what will always be positive for the benefit ofthe society. Without forgetting that at present the most used environment for both formal or informal information is social networks, with the large number of existing users it is almost normal to observe people who do not give them good use, which is why it is necessary to know how to knowAbout ethics when using social networks since the values and principles must be maintained even if it is a virtual medium since it is these things that define the type of person we are this is how we can analyze the entire journey, impact andchanges in communication with their impact on people.

Introduction

This essay refers to the background issues of communication, the knowledge of the web and ethics in social networks, therefore human communication was carried out from our ancestors that were forced to transmit their concerns and needs ofExpressing their feelings and ideas, which is why they were based on mimicies, however communication was advancing with the invention of the role that in turn gave rise to the invention of the printing press, which allowed the publication of the information to be useful forCommunication, subsequently, the media -related electronics stage such as radio, TV, cinema, communication has been constantly evolving until today with various useful tools being a mechanism that involves two or more people forKnowledge is transmitted.

The knowledge of the web has been of vital importance in humanity starting with the web 1.0, in which your visitors can only read their contents; On Web 2.0 cybernauts can create their content and share, it implies autonomous and collaborative work roles for use giving collaborative, active learning since it can contribute with dynamic and changing knowledge depending on tools that facilitate communication. And finally the web 3.0 that is currently used, which allows us to interaction in the network and is visualized with three -dimensional spaces.

Ethics in social networks is closely related to the human or moral attitude of an individual when sharing information since there is reflected their way of being or thinking. Social networks are used to facilitate learning with several users critically with the right of free expression, but with responsibility when sharing information.

Developing

Communication is born with the human being itself, due to being one of its natural abilities, to date there is no miletechnologies used for the creation of this.

Communication during the years has been evolving so that since prehistory the first humans used languages that were archaic, made paintings known as one of the first attempts in a form of expression or communication. The Sumerians were those who devised a type of writing with icons that represented concepts, or rather known as the cuneiform writing, the Egyptians also developed a writing system, but that based on the hieroglyphs, they used as a form of support for writingThe papyrus, these were rolled around a wooden axis.

The language evolved until all these icons were associated with the vocal sounds thus forming the ancient alphabets, among them, the Phoenicians, Greeks, etc. During classical cultures language and alphabet evolved in great way in which great literary and theatrical works composed. The alphabet that came to our cultures descends directly from the Latin alphabet, that is, from the Romans those who extended throughout the West. They devised a modern writing with a beautiful font, used new writing supports such as parchment, this was made from the skin’s skins.

In the Middle Ages the culture suffered a setback, since this era was marked by the crisis of war, since in the monasteries it was where books were copied by monks, religious theme.

In the twelfth century the universities appeared being these new culture centers, they also dedicated themselves to the purchase and sale of books.

The exchange of paper texts and other physical supports is to say of vegetable fiber gave rise to a system for sending and receiving cards in different countries, known as printed emails. The communications that were used in this system were long expected, although from the invention of the steam machine, it was much easier to take those letters to more recipients in less time, but this sending model was replaced by the e-mailor also called email at the end of the 20th century.

This is how with the passage of time communication has been improving, starting with web 1.0 that was characterized by being static, container of documents that were never updated and only allowed their reading;which would be equivalent to providing information passively and linear.

Web 2.0 It is important because it influences the ability to resolve and develop the intellects that are generally manifested by the use of ICTs responsible for designing, organizing, executing and evaluating processes of instruction, training and social adaptation, present in traditional technologies and communication. On the other hand, it also highlights that they allow us to interaction between the worlds of education, it refers to a new generation of websites based on the creation of pages where the contents are shared and produced by the portal users themselves.

As the last of this website we can say that together with the Internet network they are a virtual interaction model that allows us to move forward, evolving and reasoning every day as humans, allowing technological resources to be the fundamental basis for the exchange of knowledge andideas in education, with the help of social networks.

Web 3.0 With the passing of time and its evolution shows us some support tools in training, especially in the development of distance training, allowing to develop environments that simulate classrooms, laboratories, class sessions and even university plans. In this way some of the characteristics shown by the web 3.0 and that favor the training process are:

  • Hypertexts, allowing the student to build the meaning of the direction that he considers attractive.
  • Multimedia capacity, allows the exchange of documents in different formats.
  • The possibility of forming collaborative work groups.
  • The tools and services that facilitate communication such as forums, email, chat, etc.

From a cultural perspective of knowledge, the web has been an advantage and responsibility. For people who are interested in other cultures, the network of networks provides a significant amount of information and an interactivity that would be disabled in another way, entered as a globalization tool, ending the isolation of cultures. Due to its rapid massification and incorporation into the life of the human being, the virtual space is constantly updated of information, reliable or irrelevant.

We can define the web as time and space, it must also be said that it is a semantic or intelligent website that will allow usWeb. So the content will be recognized in its context.

Collective intelligence

The result of this collaborative work in the creation of information (content) has generated what is known as collective intelligence. Collective intelligence is the sum of all individual intelligences by working collaboratively (non -individual) in the creation of knowledge generating documents. Wikipedia is an example of this collective intelligence. Collective intelligence occurs in many situations: joint projects, documents and studies prepared in group, in any work that involves collaboration and group work.

From my point of view the websites together with the internet have helped us carry out several activities in our day to day and with a difference quite different from the usual below an example of this:

  1. Entertainment
  2. Worked
  3. Online businesses
  4. Education
  5. Health
  6. Finance
  7. Religion

Advances in technology and knowledge always lead to moral dilemmas before the emergence of new work methods or tools that affect human interaction.

Social networks were born to meet the communication needs of most ‘millennials’ audiences. In recent decades, social networks have become a means of communication and have successfully transformed society into digitalization. The interaction of scenarios and opinions is not limited by time and space. It is characterized by deploying in a highly diffuse component, which seeks the so -called "viral" as the highest rate of its reach. This concept derives from the self-replication process. The released virus is similar to the spread of computer viruses and is now widely used in online marketing (1).

Although morality permeates all human activities, morality is the two essential basic professions, because morals directly and clearly affect people’s lives: medicine and journalism.

The reason for this is that the ability of the human being to influence all social groups from the digital environment is wider and more deep than ever. At the same time, we are creators, producers and information consumers. This reality highlights the moral debate in digital media (especially social networks). To remain a means of construction of democracy, courses for the formation of truthful and timely thought and information, it is essential to promote codes of behavior and ethics.

Unfortunately, social networks have given ‘anonymity, popularity;discrimination, integration;difference, equality, bad mood, educational level, etc.) So how can we create an ideal space for all?

First, it is necessary to strengthen the security of information and its ethical management in the digital environment, since the main risks and vulnerabilities are related to the use of foreign information by users (whether true or false).

Second, in the digital environment, ethical behavior faces huge challenges. The problem is not in the instrument, because it is not the network that represents a threat to the privacy, security and confidentiality of people and their data. On the contrary, users can use the tool or not to influence public and private interests.

Right or wrong.

When talking about ethics and social networks, people are full of skepticism, because ‘the absurd is the simple idea that the Internet provides more services for little ethical things’, but it is undeniable that communication darkens the limitations of the medium. The filter is not a rule.

An example of this is what happened with Fake News on Facebook, which given the "non -professional" treatment given to the media by some people, has led to the establishment of verification methods by social media giants.

At our rate of development, the negative impact of irresponsible and unusual internet use should be measured by our GDP. Ensuring healthy internet use is a task that involves us all (2).

Discussion

Communication has given several ways since the beginning of humanity, people were looking for a way to communicate either from hieroglyphs to the language we know today. People also communicated through paper exchanges, but these were very delayed, which is why it was replaced by communication via the Internet, we receive and send messages, emails and documents in seconds, it is done through social networks, collaborative tools, e-mail, etc.

The use and knowledge of the web in society has great benefits and has allowed various contributions. Compared to the current website with the previous ones, it has a lotto Internet.

The advance of technology has not been beneficial in its entirety since there are people who do not give good use to the Internet, especially to social networks that a group of people are, who decide to connect through technology for exchangeMutual information, composed of a set of people who relate according to some criteria, either by friendship, profession or some relationship. Given the misuse of social networks, ethics is present, which is the science that studies the causes in the work of the human being considering these acts as fair or unfair. As users we must be careful with the information we share, not to speak with unknown people, we must protect our privacy and other people, respect confidentiality, we must respect the physical and moral integrity of others. We should not do unusual actions such as sharing other people’s pregnant videos or photos, stealing identity, threats and either participating in fraudulent activities.

Conclusions

In conclusion, the human being has created for its comfort different forms of communication that have evolved over the years. As the first media we had to the signs, signs, sounds, speech, writing and printing. Currently it has improved on a large scale, we have a language and enjoy technologies that allow us to interact with people regardless of their geographical and quickly.

The web is a very useful tool both in the student and professional field because it allows us to access a lot of information and at the same time to new applications, in the same way we can access and share documents that we create ourselves.

Ethics in social networks studies the work of human beings, that is, if their actions are fair or unfair according to the code of values. It refers to the rules, norms, rights and obligations of each person.
