NAKE CLASSIFICATION: Renewable and Non -Renewable

According to the new data published by the International Renewable Energy Agency (2019), the trend of a decade of strong growth with renewable energy continued in 2018 with global additions from 171 Gigavatios (GW). The increase per year of 7.9 % was reinforced by the incorporation of solar and wind energy, who represented 84 % of the increase. The third part of the planet’s energy capacity is currently based on renewable energies. Thus, it is very important to pay attention to the renewable and non -renewable energies used today, since this last type of energy can generate the exhaustion of energy resources and produce severe damage on the planet Earth that would take years to take yearsrepair, while renewables collaborate with the welfare of the environment. Next, electricity and solar thermal renewable energy will be announced about energy, electricity and energy.

Energy is the ability of bodies to perform work, the result can be to generate movement, heat, electricity or light. For the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands, S.A. (2008), energy can be classified into two large groups: renewable and non -renewable. On the one hand, renewable energies are those that are inexhaustible, since they come from solar radiation or the gravitational attraction of the moon. The most outstanding energies of this type are wind, hydraulic, solar and biomass. On the other hand, non -renewable energies are those that depend on the subject existing on Earth and are in a limited amount, mainly they recognize oil, coal, natural gas and uranium as one of the most used resources in this typeof energy. The author also mentions that the majority of the energy produced depends on gas, coal and oil. The burning of these fossil fuels leads to a series of negative effects ranging from the exhaustion of these fuels to the generation of acid rain. First, humanity annually consumes what nature took endless years to produce, this makes possible the exhaustion of fossil fuels. Apart from this, there has been a sensitive increase in CO₂ and other greenhouse gases in the last decades in the atmosphere. In addition, around three quarters of CO₂ emissions are anthropogenic and are due to burning these fuels. Also, this burning releases a large number of rust of both sulfur and nitrogen, which when reacting with the atmosphere becomes acidic. This generates that the rains are acidic, and when it reaches the earth’s surface it causes soils to lose their nutrients and river water.

Energy sources are classified into two large groups: renewable and non -renewable, each of them encompasses a series of plants that generate electricity. On the one hand, within the renewable energies are central that range from those that are photovoltaic solar to the winds. First, for the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands, S.A. (2008), photovoltaic solar plants are those that are constituted by solar panels that transform solar radiation directly into electricity. Second, solar power plants, use solar radiation to heat a fluid that subsequently produces steam and moves a generator that produces electricity. Then, marine plants that take advantage of the tides of tides and waves that serve to move turbines in order to generate electricity. Likewise, a hydroelectric power plant generates electricity that, through the use of the potential energy of the embalmed water in a dam it acts a generator that produces electricity. Then, geothermal energy is what comes from the internal heat of the earth. This tends to escape naturally, but it can also be extracted. Finally, wind centrals that are a set of wind turbines that are currently considered a “clean energy”, since it does not require combustion that produces polluting waste. On the other hand, non -renewable energies depend on the existing matter on Earth among them are thermal and nuclear. First, the plants of the thermal type are those that convert the chemical energy of a fuel into electrical energy, consist mainly of a boiler and a turbine and the most used fuels are coal, oil and gas. Then, nuclear power plants use heavy chemical elements to obtain electricity, uranium or plutonium are the most used, since they provide heat, that heat is used to produce steam and from that point the processes of a thermal power plant are applied.

Renewable energies are those that are generated continuously, they are inexhaustible and at the same time they are constantly renewed. One of them is the solar thermal energy that takes advantage of solar radiation. The solar thermal energy is the one that takes advantage of the radiation of the sun and for centuries it has been used in activities of agriculture, architecture, industry, etc. The origin of this energy was thanks to the radiation that reached the earth and its respective storage in special solar receptors. First, the energy of the sun moves in the form of electromagnetic radiation and only half reaches the earth’s surface. Subsequently, for the storage of solar radiation, a solar or collector collector consists of a glass front cover, an absorbent surface, a thermal insulation and an external housing for protection. Finally, the use of solar thermal energy makes it possible to generate electricity in order to use it in different artifacts such as heating, kitchens, refrigerators, etc. It is also applied in industries either for bottles, fiber separation, or even for food treatments. In addition, with the use of this energy, heat is generated, either to use it in the air conditioning of swimming pools, or even for cooking food.

In conclusion, energy is the ability of bodies to perform work, the result can be to generate movement, heat, electricity or light. In addition, for the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands, S.A. (2008), energy sources are classified into two large groups: renewable and non -renewable, each of them encompasses a series of different plants that generate electricity. Likewise, renewable energies are those that are produced continuously, are inexhaustible and continually renew. One of them is the solar thermal energy that takes advantage of solar radiation. Therefore, more in times like ours, where the population grows and with it the demand for energy, is the energy overview that we visualize?, Do we misuse electricity and fuels in our homes?, Is it possible to make changes in our way of life to solve the environmental problems we face?
