It with no doubt that the rate of crime increases in the country every year. I agree with you on taking every necessary step in reducing criminal activity. However, the step of scanning children’s brains to predict future criminal activity is one that has to be thought of thoroughly given the circumstance that surrounds the situations First, let’s examine what causes crime or why children might be at a higher chance of engaging in criminal activity. Scientifically genetics determine children’s behaviors. Children will tend to exhibit some character traits from their parents or grandparents. Some people even say that we only perfect what is in our genes. This means that a child will be likely to engage in criminal activity if it’s in their genes. By in their genes, it refers to the traits they inherit from parents. If a parent had a lot of irresponsible behavior, then it’s likely that a child will also have such behaviors. The phenomenon only shows that the scanning program might be irrelevant in some situations. The possible effect of diagnosing children as to be likely to have criminal activity is putting the thought in them. Children are innocent and making one aware that they are a criminal in the making will only make them a criminal. While to some extent every individual is responsible for their actions, sometimes actions can be caused by other things such peer pressure or the environment.
