Introduction
The problem of social housing is a topic very analyzed by the different technical and social disciplines, including architects, directly related to housing and how to elaborate it, due to the complexity that it presents from its first appearances. The industrial revolution arrived and with it all its consequences, the industries with their great enclosures were installed in the metropolis, in turn in these they were directly dependent on their operators. This, making a direct equation, leads to the exodus from the countryside to the city that these operators exerted, and thus, it often concluded in superpoblation of the metropolis.
Developing
To face the problem of social housing, different questions and resolutions emerge with respect to this that have converged in our times as typological and buildative solutions, they last from the modern period of the last century to the present. In the course of this essay, four works of different years, contexts and places are selected, ordering them for the periods established by the exercise pattern.

Located in the city of Rotterdam, Holland;Its authors were Brikman, Willen van Tijen and Van der Vlugt.
To begin, the four cases studied respond to different topics within the concept of social housing. For premature justification, we will mention the most important conductive thread of the choice of the four most works that share the social housing family, but, the most eloquent for the purposes of our essay will be the runner street and the benefits and also disenchantmentswho possesses this typology.
