Artificial Intelligence and its Limitations
At present, the issues of great interest are those focused on the new era, almost nobody wants to know what really happened in the past. Artificial intelligence has reproduced some mental skills in machines and androids that are very back in history.
As some machines especially the calculators were designed to avoid having to think and to make the thought faster and exactly, it was inevitable that from their origins the calculators and later the computers, they relate to intelligence and the thinking emphasized their similar their similar.
The AI was introduced to the scientific community by Alan Turing in its article Computer machines and intelligence, the design and training of computers began some time before, it was until the Turing article appeared that the idea of an intelligent machine captive attentionof scientists.
AI is to understand the nature of intelligence through the design of computer systems that exhibit it. In a more concrete way, it can be affirmed that in what has elapsed its history, the AI has been directed by three general objectives:
- The theoretical analysis of possible explanations of intelligent behavior.
- The explanation of human mental skills
- The construction of intelligent artifacts.
The simulation that is done in AI has been some of the intelligent characteristics of human beings. These reproductions have openly sought the similarity between a computer and human beings, the elaboration of simulations has suggested the possibility of exploring human cognitive processes, however, efforts in these lines, different from modeling, have been dedicated to producing behaviorintelligent human in computers.
Artificial intelligence machines and systems lack two very important things: feelings and ethics so they are not able to decrease correctly between good and evil since their behavior depends on a programming and not on the relationship, so, so,In case of any failure, it could damage the rest. The most prominent in the world and with an expertise that goes from physics to philosophy, ethics, computing, sociology and science fiction in the need to be careful since artificial intelligence should not pass human intelligence.
Artificial intelligence has explored the different ways in which computers could perform the tasks that were previously to human beings, such as solving problems, planning the future, demonstrating theorems, playing chess, talking and understanding a language, composing music, etc.
The fact is that artificial intelligence has not yet been able to reproduce a complete human being, has forced specialists to specify their concepts to use more consistency and rigor at the same time.
