Armed Conflict of Arab-Israeli
Introduction
In this text I will talk about the armed conflict from my experience, what I have lived and what I have known. I was born in a city with enough armed conflict, Florencia, Caquetá, in 2002. At that time things were difficult in Florence, the armed conflict was very present. For stories that my relatives told me, they went through worse things that I managed to witness.
My mother told me that when she was pregnant with me, the guerrillas entered the neighborhood and opened fire against the army. For her it was a trauming and desperate experience. My grandfather was kidnapped by the guerrillas and were going to kill him, but for things that one would believe that he only sees in the movies, he managed to escape from that kidnapping.
Developing
The guerrillas made constant down to the city to kill all who were on the street after certain hours. To my uncle when he was paying military service, the guerrillas made an attack and opened fire against the battalion, in which my uncle was, they took them all badly and their only option was to run, he tells me that he felt the bullets pass toHis side and the sound so characteristic of the bullets, that buzz, managed to reach a small ravine that was and threw himself around to survive.
As a curious fact, when I was born, my parents took me to Pereira to baptize me, because the guerrillas had announced a "purge" so to speak, and those threats if they were going very seriously, and my parents out of fear took me to Pereira for the baptism for the baptism. My parents are from Pereira, but I don’t know why both ended up in Florence, I don’t know why that decision.
But my mother since she was little, changed a lot of city, went through many cities, all casually conflicting in guerrillas, so the most stories of that style is her, my uncles, and my grandparents. My mom since she was little she knew what it was to be surrounded by so much chaos, and so common and normalized that it seems a lie for any foreigner. The guerrillas had the rudeness to go down to the town and go house by house asking them to let them go to lunch, obviously refusing meant dead sunrise or with a threat of death the next day.
In my case, what I have lived since I have memory and knowledge on the subject, the first attack that I managed to witness, was close to my house, the guerrillas put bombs on the avenue, since they knew that some patrols ofPolice, they waited for the exact moment for the attack, and exploited 5 bombs in total, one behind the other. They opened fire against the police, a few police officers died who did not have enough equipment and the unexpected of the attack, but in less than 5 minutes there were already any number of military, helicopters, and other military forces in the area to deal with the attack.
What I saw in action video games I could see in real life, and the sound of the bullets that seemed to never end was very shocking. That same year, a few months later, another attack, in the same area, and in a similar way, it happened. This was a little more interesting in the way of executing it, a moment before the attack, they killed a homeless in the area and filled him with explosives, they called the police posing as a civilian who had found a corpse on the road, andthat they came to inspect.
Police arrived, and when the patrol passed near the body, it exploded. I was sleeping seconds before the explosion occurred, I woke up and a few seconds later something exploded, the explosion was so strong that even my bed jumped, and it was a cabin. What came after the explosion was an impressive shooting, what I first thought was that it was another attack, like the last time, I looked on the terrace to confirm, and in effect, by eye and at first glance, I would say that there wereabout 50 guerrillas in that mountain. And the same last time, a few police officers died, another large amount of injured, and a shooting that seemed endless.
From that, that I remember, I did not live again directly, or at least so explicitly, the armed conflict. Obviously things are not that they had ended overnight, violence was still present, it was very common to hear that they killed such a person, or that they are extorting other people. Or also listen to my parents talking about just killing some acquaintance of them, he was also recurring.
conclusion
After all that wave of attacks that I spoke before, a wave of robberies, crime, drug trafficking, etc. The majority of things that happened were because of drug trafficking, although certainly the drug traffickers were, or they were guerrillas, or had links with the guerrillas, since as already known, the drug usually occurs in farms in the middle of the mountain by peasantspractically kidnapped by the guerrillas, that is no secret to anyone.
In my personal experience in the face of that, beyond consumption, it is with the death of a relative who sadly wanted to involve in that world, he died murdered by an infiltrator in the band to which he belonged, they were carrying a package for a trail, he was driving, the person who went from barb.
The armed conflict is something that sadly, and also in a good way, has helped me to understand and understand the reality that many Colombians live, which even after everything that has been tried to stop the conflict, it seems that those areas of Colombia do notThey will find peace, or at least for a long time.
