Analysis of the work of Adan and Eva by Mark Twain
BIOGRAPHY
Mark Twain, whose true name was Samuel Langhorne Clemens, was an American writer, was born in 1835 and died in 1910. He was born in Florida but at the age of four, he moved to Hannibal, a small town near the Mississippi river, where many of their stories would take place. At the age of twelve, his father died from what he had to work as a typographer. He collaborated with his brother in local newspapers, where he expressed his dislike for racism and slavery. He was a steamboat pilot on the Mississippi River, in this way, his artistic name was acquired, since Mark Twain is an expression used by sailors which means two depth fathoms or brand two waves. He was also soldier of the Confederation and Minero in the Silver Mines of Nevada. He married Olivia Langdon in 1870, had a son who died two years after he was born and later had three daughters, of which one died from a disease. This is how Mark Twain deals with these issues sarcastic and with a lot of sense of smoke in his books. He was considered a literary genius in the United States, since he turned humor into a public service.
PLOT
Diaries of Adam and Eva tells us a story based on creationism, where we see how the beginnings of society were from the characters Adam and Eva, the inhabitants of the earth according to the Bible and Christianity. In the work they show us the perspective of Adam first, since, he was the first of the two to reach the earth. Adam demonstrates critical thinking and opinion of things from the beginning, taking out his own conclusions and observations of the place and his situation. When Eva arrives, Adam does not show very happy, rather, consider Eva as a nuisance due to her strange and different behavior, being hostile and serious and she is happy and very curious. He expresses his annoyance when Eva begins to name the places, objects and animals, and also when she tries to talk to her. Over time, Eva joined a snake with which he could now speak and thus Adam was quieter until Eva consumed the forbidden fruit, that it was the apple, while Eva sworn that she had been deceived and that she believed that the forbidden fruitIt was the chestnut. Shame began to invade them, as well as sleep, hunger or cold. When Eva’s perspective is reached, we see her sweet, creative and curious side where she considers many things and then check it through experiments. Eva is shown as being sociable after observing Adam for some time. Eva had thought about any possibility, as in which she was in an experiment or even death. Eva was more demonstrative about her feelings by Adam while the aforementioned took longer to accept it. When Cain and Abel arrived, Adam began to create theories about his species and because Eva wanted to take care of them. In the end he ended up accepting that the two were of the same species. Eva always wanted to die first because she wouldn’t stand to live without Adam, since she considered herself very weak. Indeed it was, Adam made him a grave and among himself he thought she was in paradise.

The main theme of the work is creationism because it speaks of two characters considered as the first inhabitants on Earth, how was their development and first thoughts of these., In addition, the main qualities of human being, for better or worse, which led us to make several incredible discoveries but at the same time led to misfortune in certain case, this is the curiosity and the ability of critical thinking and opinionof each individual, in addition to adding irony, because the work expresses Eva as the stereotype of submissive, sweet and weak without the man, while Adam as the one who makes the decisions, the strong and the dominant, being considered by many currently asA macho story, however, Mark Twain was against all these things and made his position clear.
WEATHER
The story develops linearly, because they are newspapers written by Adam and Eva, therefore time advances as they write in their newspapers. At the author’s time, there were several problems of religious and political fields and as Mark Twain was dedicated to recounting the social problems lived by him with a little more sense of humor, he said the work in this way. Along the work, the weather was not such a mentioned issue, but in most of the case it was sunny and did not usually rain so much. Sometimes it was night while it was mostly day. The book was written in the three grammatical times, what happened at that time with the main characters was mentioned in the newspapers and there were also events that happened a few days ago to be able to tell the present that of the present. In addition, there was talk of issues such as death, which were themes of what has not yet happened.
