Analysis: Exhibition of reasons-before Franz Kafka’s law

Two interesting texts are presented in the reader’s hands: the Kafkian story vor demnetz (before the law) and exhibition of reasons, written by Professor José Calvo González. Both texts are within the work of the law or will it be fiction?, written by Professor Calvo.

Starting with Franz Kafka’s story, before the law, it is an apologist or parable (this is a kind of story whose plot contributes a moral teaching) located in the novel entitled Der ProzESS (the process) written in 1915. He talks about the Kafka story as an example of this, concluding that the exposition of reasons is nothing more than the implicit logos overendoned to the law. After talking about the Kafkian text, it goes on to analyze the antologist’s labro, where he defends that the value of this trade is not in the result but in the motivation of this. Then he goes on to talk about the composition of the book, where he emphasizes that the brevity of the texts was intentionally. Finally, Professor Calvo writes that this work was not to follow a fashion, but to bring out the "iusliteratura" causing him to obtain a very valuable source of literature, accompanied by data and bibliography of the authors of the texts.

Franz Kafka usually fuses introduction, knot and outcome due to the brevity of his stories. In this case, an introduction can be glimpsed in the first two sentences of the fragment. In about twenty words, Kafka introduces all the elements of the story. Development is clearer since this form almost complete the text, ending at the time the farmer asks his last question. From this last doubt, the outcome is formed. This text has a purely literary record.

It is interesting as Kafka exposes the idea of exposure of reasons in his work: something can be so open that it can cause fear. It is also curious the behavior of the peasant before that tacit permission granted by the guard and the blind trust in him: he never saw the other guards from within or had a way of knowing if they existed. Right now the ideas buzz in my head as if it were a hive of bees. If we carefully analyzed the text, we can verify that the peasant really could have entered the dread more to what there were after the threshold prevented it, being the words of the guard what most twisted his will and that we could resort to the old saying of "Do not judge a book on its cover ”since the peasant blindly trusted the guard of the Guardian when he told him that there would be more guards. I also disturb the idea that Kafka drops at the end of the text when the guardian says “nobody else could enter here, because this entry was intended for you only."That is: she is out of the law for the fear that gives her to face her due to how open the door is while only waiting for him because it is he who wanted to enter.
