Advertising industry vs animation industry, national and international perspective

We can define animation as the process of giving life, or rather, impression of movement to exánimes images and objectives, this phenomenon is nothing more than a visual perception. The animation originated in 1888 by the French Émile Reynaud, this technique was used even before the cinematographer was created, the first device capable of recording and projecting moving images. From that time until today, animation has gone through immense changes and continues to grow in a sustained way, registering in the global animation market in 2018, according to PR Newsire data, a value of about 259 billion dollars, and isWait for it to grow at 270 billion dollars by 2020, we see more and more films, series or advertising, which use this method.

The international animation industry will continue to grow since, as a society goes through technological changes, consumers look for more and more quality in the ads they see, more reality in their video games, and better visual effects on movies. We can emphasize that, in the history of animation, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the highest grossing 3D movie in North America, with a 936 collection.66 million dollars, and it is not expected that this record is sustained for a long time due to the boom of animated cinema among the population and the great quality of its films.

The Dominican Republic has benefited from the high standards in the consumption of films, series, and advertising worldwide, since this has forced those who form this industry, to modernize and bring a quality product to the Dominicans with nothing to envyto the rest of the world.

Among these advances we can highlight when in 2015 it was created thanks to the fusion of Lantica Media and Ag Studios, a study with the supervision of Anima Studios, one of the most renowned animation companies in Latin America, the Dominican animation study later stood outWith his film "The Legends", which was released on the Netflix platform in 2017, the world’s largest streaming platform

As for the advertising industry, we can define public. The advertising industry in business activity is not a single actor’s task, but is in the need to be carried by several actors simultaneously in order to get the message objectively. Among these actors are advertisers, advertising and media agencies. The advertising industry is of vital importance for any entity of society, and this can be reflected in that in 2019 worldwide reached 616.000 million dollars in investment according to WARC Global Advertising Trends data.

In the Dominican Republic the advertising industry is growing due to the world technological boom, specifically in our country, in which, according to data from the ONE, 6 out of 10 Dominicans has a smartphone. It is estimated that advertising investment was RD $ 550.000 million and still growing. The advertising industry is much more complex than only advertising, since, it must with its efficiently invite the consumer to live an experience, which is to buy your brand.

In my opinion it is not entirely fair to compare the advertising industry with the animation industry, since, they complement each other and without the other they could not experience the growth they have today, we live in a world in constant change which needsof the coordination of all industries to bring to individuals a product with quality.
